I was getting modjive from the Sir. Community they have mod updaters, and i poked around and found the trailer to the v.5 video and loved that trailer and it hoked me. I didn't actually get to downloading it until .6 but then it's been love when I read the field manual and was into it instantly.

i think i was googling BF2 stuff and then ended up in battlefield2.filefront.com. where i found out about PR and some other mods

I found the mod from wikipedia, actually.

I found a wiki page that showed battlefield 2 mods, and so I clicked this one, and I remembered thinking that the rally point idea was really dumb but I wanted to try it anyway.

I think i found it while i was looking for some different BF2 mods, maybe in moddb.com

Yea, now that i think of it...how did it go that i first heard of it on the BF2 main site, and now i have Project Reality labled on my underwear?

Never heard of PR until around when .07 came out.

Our clan leader applied to run a PR server, so I downloaded it to play on it and support my group. It turned out to be pretty dang fun, and we play it all the time on that same server now.

Saw people mentioning the game over on the Squad forum and also watched a bunch of Bluedrake's videos for the game.

I had a friend on the bf2s.com forums who was starting a PR .3 server and needed an admin. I jumped right in. Been here ever since. Unfortunately he stopped playing PR come .6 because of being unable to get a server license.

Ah Desertfox you're .5 basrah server was the best. A-10s, T-62s, Blackhawks, good times.

ReviveD. A ex old friend from a previous clan i was in told me about project reality. I wanted to play ARMA for years and didn't have the money for it and i wasn't sure how well i could run arma at the time so he suggested P.R. and here i am.

Back in 2006/2007 I was just browsing and downloading mods from Fileplanet.com and found this I was playing this and PoE at the time all the time never liked FH2 couldn't get into as much as PoE or PR

Got asked by a dev to try it out over X-fire. This was when the mod was in PRMM 0.2
When there was only one map Gulf of Oman. Pretty much the only difference was; set kit, higher damage (One or two hit kill pretty much), bit less recoil (I think I remember this right) and the point distribution was different. You used to get more points over distance which was quite funny. As a sniper you got insanely amount of points.

These are just a couple of things I remember about 0.2 We've come a looong way to get to 1.0 and higher.
