Alright I am running every setting on low, because my computer cannot run any higher than that. My resolution is 1024 x 900 @ 60MHz or something like that. I am running 512 mb of ram currently with an ati radeon x800 pro

Hmmm... well, my new graphics card is on its way. once I get it in I'll look back into it. Im at a total loss as to why people are still crashing.
I'll need to go back into the editor anyway, the map needs repair trucks and helipads at the airport... and i already placed some ammo caches for the rpg/ak somalians...
Hmm... idk why it crashes at 46%... anyone get the error message? both are at 46%...

sorry...

Short list of upcoming updates once new graphics card is in:
***some barricades can still be conquered, will increase height/steepness
***ammo caches throughout city mainly for rpg insurgents (placed mainly in areas that resemble a market (white and blue market stands) DEV's, if this is a bad call, let me know... I just know last night theyd fire their two RPGs and be like, "****, ok, what now?" And its not like they cant be sought after and taken out by "Rangers"
***helipad for helicopter rearming and repairing(Where is this located in editor? i found the cloth one, but thats not the one Im thinking of)
***repair truck for more or less same reason, although with mobile capabilities (might put only one in)
***Umm, CP names could be cleaner, but thats getting picky.
Anything anyone else thinks of, let me know... This next release I will have Snake Doctor from PR forums pack it so hopefully it will work for everyone.
For now though, if it doesnt work for you, let me know what % it crashes at, run it in windowed mode, and send a picture of the error message!! please!
Next release, hopefully working, will be probably this weekend sometime...
once again guys, i really appreciate all the downloading and testing, and Im really really sorry it isnt going so smoothly... youve all been really supportive of this and Im really sorry to make you all go through the trouble of downloading something that doesnt work/look its best...

It's going to be AAS mode in the final, I'm guessing?

well, alpha still is uber early. and if it bugs you, just pretend I'm BIS, that my map is ArmA, and that you are the person paying 50 dollars.

Some of you may understand that one.
Definition of: alpha version
Software that has just been compiled and ready for its initial test inhouse. See alpha test, beta test and release candidate.
I'm still gonna call it alpha, although the map description might mistakenly read "Beta"... just don't download if it bugs you

It was released knowing it had things needing work, but I felt it was good enough to roll out a version for some guys to have fun on, which we have already done. 3 ASF guys, a friend from home, and Eddie were on last night.
AAS?
And yes, AASx2 support is my ultimate goal, and judging by what I read about it, it could even be in the next release this weekend.
Heck, even a later version with Extraction from Wolcott's bird would be pretty cool. I'd have to add in more roadblocks, but it'd be fun. Would choppers not be a good idea for extract? idk, anyway, too early for that imo.

Whoever has the 7600, and whoever wants to try it:
Try putting your settings on the following, it worked fine for me. Then we will se if it is something that needs sorting with lighting or whatever that changes with different settings.
Ignore the resolution, have that how you want, mine is manually set as 1440x900.

Once I get this next version up in a few days I'll look into it, but right now, im a bit busy with school and to me its just a little pointless to upload something to another site just to have it have a 50/50 chance of not running anyway...
BUT, who knows, I might get back from class and be free for 20 minutes and do it anyway... do i need a username at rapidshare?

Cant solve the problem if we aren't too sure what it is!

rapidshare.com doesn't require a login but you can create an account if you like.
Anyway, It finally finished downloading, map loads up and works fine on 9600XT, 1 gig of ram and 3GHz pentium 4 presscot.
