I particularly like the AKS-47 with the buttstock. The insurgents should be issued mostly with that variant. Also will there be folding-out stock animations for the AKS-47 in-game ?

:( I know, it was a nightmare, but thank you for doing it. Looking forward to seeing the outcome.

Im not an animator, and plans to include this into the mod have not been discussed.

Would it be possible to hijack the vBF2 G36C folding-out stock animation?

The G36C has a side folding stock, while the AKS-47 has a underfolding stock.

That looks great! But the part just above where the folding stock meets the rest of the gun looks a bit blocky.
But maybe I don't know what I'm talking about!

Looks damn good too me, one pretty big error though however and quite noticable.
The bolt and ejection port is too thick and short, it also needs to be on an angel in the back by the dust cover as the ejection port is not square on any AK variants. You will see if you look at some pictures closely.
Other than that it looks very good.

Well just remember if this gets in game, you'll hardly ever see that side of the gun, just like how you hardly ever see the bolt on the vBF2 model

If I in any way edit the model, the uv map will automatically be edited I believe. That means more work for Rambo and I, and for a small little detail I may have missed during the modeling process, its just not worth the edit. Anyways, looks pretty good so far, thanks for the update.

Its just sittin there on the HD. Forgot all about it to be honest. The UV map I handed to Rambohunter was made of fail, and I wouldnt have done anthing with it either. The UVs would have to be remade, and I dont think I would have a use for it with the crsis folks, so it would have to be used here, and no one has approached me about it.

I do know that the guys working on the Congolese army are planning on using the AKS.
