7000 tri's isnt that much, as long as you have good LOD's it will be fine

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm sure I can cut down on the Tri count one way or another, but worse things worse it'll finish at 7500 Tris? I know it’s a bit of a high number in comparison to the recommended Tri count for that category of vehicle in BF2, but I’m sure peoples computers these days can handle what was recommended almost 3 years ago for the BF2 engine.

I don't see why you have to be confined to just one variant. One could have an M2, another an M249, one a TOW missile, maybe even a CROWS. Considering how this is light-years better than the EA models, it's just my opinion that it should replace all of them in PR.

Once the main vehicle is done how difficult is it to make different variants?

Actually that's the point... me macking a replacement for both the DICE and USI Humvee models. This means if possible everything gets replaced.

What use would it have? And actually I was given an alternative to mod the USI Humvee to look like an Up-armored HMMWV, but it was nearly impossible task to perform as the two vehicles are fairly different, plus I wanted to make mine as realistic as possible.

No doubt in that, but what I mean by "realistic" is not to imply that the USI model isn’t realistic in the specific category or type of Humvee model it’s suppose to represent. By realistic I mean being provided an option to manipulate an already existing model which is not an Up-armored variant could cause series of difficulties and constraints which would most likely lead to an unrealistic model as an outcome. Also I like to make my own models from scratch.
