I tested out the AH-6 on kashan (with dual 7.62mm miniguns) it took a full 6 seconds to kill a humvee! Considering how much lead it puts into the target this is utterly ridiculous.

Personally I feel the damage per shot should be upped to make up for the low RPM.

The book was written by Mark Bowden (A Reporter) and was originally a series of columsn in the Philadelphia Inquirer.

I did not say I was part of the 5th SFG, learn to comprehend English... I said the 5th SFG was part of the Garrison at Campbell, along with the 101st and the 160th SOAR.

Have you ever seen a 7.62mm Bullet? If you had you would know that the amount of HE able to fit in it wouldnt do shit.

Also, another thing is you guys do not get that the minigun is equipped when it is needed to provide support for the troops being dropped off, and so far, the USMC in PR need the support, so it is somewhat realistic. The reason you keep pointing out pictures of Iraq and Afghanistan with M240s is that they wont equip the minigun on those helicopters because they are expensive to shoot. Why give a 20 year old trigger happy gunner a minigun when you can give him a 240 he can get the job done with (in reality) and it costs a ton less to shoot. Wait till we get into it with Iran, get some pics of the Marines' 1st landing. Bet they have miniguns

This would be an example of why kids need to stay in school. You just punched yourself in the face. When people need support they get the M240, and when they need support they get the M134? WTF? Marines have plenty of 20 year olds... As for Trigger Happy, the M134 isnt a precision weapon. Its a spray and pray weapon. Guns are expensive to shoot. Thats news? They dont just swap weapons on and off the chopper based on needs. The M240 can do anything the M134 can, just not as fast. It isnt the friggin "Rush teh Bunk3r and get my snipah rifle b4 everyone else" in PR.

Your little "America is better so we shoot a shitload of bullets" is just arrogant and inaccurate.


BOTTOM LINE: The Standard Armament of a UH-60A/L Blackhawk used by Conventional Forces is 2x 7.62mm M240 or M60 Medium Machine Guns. I thought this was commmon knowledge, but perhaps not. Yes, on rare occasions I suspect the 101st has seen action with the M134, but the M240/M60 is much more realistic.

Before this gets locked get off the damn subject of who's right and wrong, I said what I know and I stand by it. Nedlands, like I said there are HE 7.62 rounds designed for the M134 but they're specialty and probably never used.

PR. There are no conventional M134s to be replaced in reality as has been shown.

I doubt that minigun is going to be replace because it will requires new Black Hawk modeling.

Nah notrly.

The M134 miniguns are a separate weapon from the Blackhawk helicopter. The helicopter has no miniguns as part of the model.

I think BH Minigun is too weak against cars in PR

I really thought they were tuned down to represent 240, simular to the MG's on the other factions choppers, after v0.4. To stop the vanilla chopper rape with overpowered miniguns spawning on SL pilot with engineers in the back, raining down M4 lasergun armed spec-ops.
