Ok so first of all there are more than Marines shooting in Iraq there's also this other branch that has infantry called the Army... oh and all of the navy corpsman out there(yes, they get out of their boats). Just thought you should know DeltaFart.

The next thing is measuring the recoil of a weapon scoped or no scoped is nearly impossible. From experience, shooting an m16 with and without an ACOG is the same in terms of the recoil affecting your shot. The people who have problems with ACOG are usually people who have less strength to keep the guns steady, or someone who has poor firing techniques. Shooting with the SAW has a very noticeable difference. With an ACOG I lost sight of my target numerous times because of the vibration affecting my vision. With iron sights the recoil didn't affect my shot at all, but there are people who think different of this.

So for PR purposes I suggest just making everything equal because in real world the recoil is different for every person and you can't simulate that.

Scoped weapons have more recoil because you are zoomed in and it seems like more but really it's the same. Hard to explain.

As if iron sights had more recoil that would make scopes better for close quarter combat??? WTF???

Putting a scope on the gun won't change it's recoil in real life, so I voted for them having equal recoil.

But honestly i didn't even feel that irons have more recoil.
