I so can't wait to fly this beast. *drools*
Tonight was making me drool even more, at Union training a rescue chopper, 2 chinooks, and a flight of 4 Caribous flew over at low level at semi-dusk. If only I had a camera. The training field is only a few K's away from the RAAF base and we certainly get a load of military aircraft. I think there must be more night training going on cause for the last few weeks a hell of a lot of military aircraft have been flying over.

lol!
that would be even worse than the blackhawk cover capping squads in the early version of BF2 when the miniguns where super powerful and all the crew in the blackhawk could cap the flag, and repair it really fast from the inside

i hope that the chinook gets no doorguns at all like the huey, its really ways better to fly a helo that doesn't constantly shoot in the air

Model it yourself then, Delta. The DEV team uses their resources to the highest extent, working on things that contribute most to the game and gameplay.
Dude, they wont replace the seaknight with a osprey, the seaknight is a helicopter built mainly for transpot in hot zones, its small(for its passenger capicity), and trustworty, also it can maneuver into small blocks in urban danger zones to either evac or dropoff troops where as the osprey is a big bulky tiltrotor aircraft that is mainly used to drop supplys off or in some cases preform HALO(High Altitude-Low Opening)jumps

But can't you drop the door and have a bunch of people crawl in? I wonder if you could do that... carry even more people...
Is it impossible to have people do that? do you just automatically die? I know you can't ride on a tank, but still... if you have something blocking from behind...

You get bounced around and die most cases. Thats how the pilot get kicked for tks and then the whole chopper crashes killing the rest.

Make it so that when you want to get out of the chopper you get out in the inside and you can drop out through the hole in the middle of the chinook while the chinook hovers above the ground.
Possible as far as i know?

so do GDI, dunno about C&C3 cos I'm not buying that worthless peace of **** since WestWood didn't make it, but in C&C GDI used it, and RA1 the allies used it

Wikipedia - CH-46 Sea Knight
To my knowledge, a Seaknight isn't likely to be made for PR as creating a Chinook would give a helo to more than one faction, with some minor changes of course.
@billdan
The US Army also uses the Chinook, so I'd imagine it would be inlcuded for them too, if we could find an appropriate map for it.
I knew that :/
Just making sure Army was getting it for 0.8 or..... next next realease.

Put 5 Gatling on it

4 windows and 1 on hatch behind, That Big Heavy "Gun Ship" would be Greeeeaaaatt... Just pilot a Chinook is great but ifs its unarmed, it will became the most dangerous vehicule in Project Reality lol.
Very nice Model Keep It Up!

to be serious, every pilot here would prefer it, when it would stay unarmed
