Hmm Venezuela sounds interesting we could do a VE vs NL map, The battle for the Dutch Antilles, Chaves was allways keen on those 3 islands (Curacao, Aruba and Bonaire)

It'd be a great chance to offer a different opponent to Nl. apart from MEC, China, Insurgents and Russia (¿.?)
The problem is that there're quite some elements the Ven. faction would need.
While luckily for the Arg. faction many elements are already done

As for the naval assets you mentioned before, there's a topic about a WiP of the HMS Ocean. If it is added to PR it could be as well included to this Falklands/Malvinas mini-mod.
As for Argentine naval assets... Well... Argentina is not planning to adquire any kind of carriers or new ships whatsoever in the near future. We keep an number of frigates, submarines and I don't know for sure if some detroyers.
An Aircraft carrier is like.... almost out of the question. The Argentine military budget is pretty low and doesn't allow much for re-modernization of heavy equipments like aircraft and specially new boats.

Yeah... It's looking pretty good.
As Masaq said. Try to darken it a little bit. Look at some pictures of soldiers wearing the M81 woodland camouflage as reference.

Tbh the camouflage on the legs look a bit awkward... And yeah darken it a bit, give it dirt on the legs and elbows.

wow... that's some good historical reference. It should be very helpful when working on the maps set on the Falklands/Malvinas.
However the biggest issue with this faction are some of the weapons and vehicles needed. The best reference for this faction would be detailed information and photos from the nowadays argentinian military since this faction is going in modern day war in the near future.

Oh yeah... can we have this as static in one of the Falklands/Malvinas maps?:
A british counter-part of this sign would also add a nice touch to the maps.
(Note: I suggest this just as a fun detail. Not as a political message).

Making a Falklands conflict for PR would probably mean the UK forces need a lot of naval assets, same goes for Argentina, perhaps they can resurrect the Veinticinco de Mayo (Former Hr.Ms. Karel Doorman) from the Indian scrap heap ARA Veinticinco de Mayo (V-2) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The carrier airplanes are a bit too Old, they are old American Airplanes.. really old, whit an Mix of a Very very old French Airplane.. i think its called Super Etterdand.. or something similar..

The 25 de Mayo was going to a Super Mission on the Falklands, their target, the main UK Flotte.

But on the Mid Flight, the order was cancelled and the War finished.. they Escaped to Argentinian Ports and.. well, they sit down and wait for PR.. =D


Well, about the Skins, more Dirty will look awesome.. i mean, they are so "New" and dirty will add more realims on them.. But i known, they are WIP and they are in very BETA Progress.. now we need a FAL, M60 we have the Huey, we use it a lot, we use Humvees, and we have tons and tons of Nuclear Weapoms

Looks better but kinda also looks mirrored too much. maybe fix that? But other then that it looks a lto better.

Now it does look much better.
I don't know what else can you do to the skin. It looks very good. You're still not quite there but you're very close.
The color thones are accurate so you stick with them.

Ok, im adding the flag on the left arm in the next edit.

A partner from our comunity make a diferent camo patern and im testing it, i would like to know your opinion about it. it is lest mirrored than the original. But let your opinion thinking in the best look and wich one (previous or this one) looks like the actual Argentinian FFAA uniform. TXS.

The brown looks.... a bit too strong I think. The colors you achieved last time were pretty accurated. The proportioning of colors is alo more towards the brown instead of green.

Anyway you guys are still getting closer.

Well, i did the flag on the arm, more durty skins, i just have to take a screen of the medic to post it.


Rigth now im tring to add a FAL model on the kits to see how it works. Its a really complicated work (for an ammateur like me) be patient please, a partner is making a map of the falklands coast. We are working and learning at the same time in our free time. Any help and collaboration will be acepted. Thanks for your care, we are not givving up this project, stay in.

Heres a suggestion

For the top half of the 3p_Heavy_US.dds or what not rotate the top half of the camo pattern 90 degrees horizontal probably have better results doing so.

Another thing.. argentina uses some Augs, but the old one.. not too modern like the australian

We also have P90 for the Marine... in low numbers.. well, not 2, not 3, i just mean.. 100

Well, im back to say we are not forgetting our goals, here i have some acceptable skins for the Beta version of the Argentinian faction.





A couple of friends are in charge of the mapping, we are trying to make a Falklands map to test with the new skins.

We are having many problems with the scripting so, for now we are making a representation of the Argentinian Marines that use the same weapons of the US Marines.

I would be needing to resking the US HMMVW, can anyone tellme where is the DDS of that vehicle? or teh exact name of the file? Txs.
