This looks really awesome

Is this going to replace the original BF2 models currently used for the US Army faction?

It's not up to me; if you want to see these ingame you should pester someone like Rhino or Tonnie about it.

Hey, I need someone to do me a favor. I need to figure out a way for the US Sniper to carry magazines for his rifle, I have no idea if a company has a dedicated pouch for bolt rifle mags..
ETA: Is there any intention to replace the Ka-Bar with an bayonet or something for the US Army?

I know someone who went to sniper school and just came back from a deployment in Iraq as an M24 sniper. I'll try to remember to ask him the next time I see him (Though I don't know how soon that will be...)

I think you should really get in contact with the DEV(s) in charge of this kind of thing and figure out what they want before you move forward with more kits. Im thinking you will get R-CON tags and help from the team making it easier for you too.

I love this stuff. Keep up the good work. We discussed the ALICE pack making him look like an inverted pregnant...man. I think these guys are really gonna like the new version.

Yeh, the ALICE pack looks odd and fugly TBH. Can't make it smaller? Is it really this big IRL?

Like Rat said, I did some work on the ALICE pack, and it no longer looks like someone has impregnated his lumbar region. I'll post the revised pictures this evening.
Thanks for the support guys, keep the ideas rolling in.

Hmmhmh. Read is the Alice pack used now days because the MLCS or something replaced Alice system around 2002. Maybe make 30 liter molle patrol pack. What id like to see is some Navy Seal = Spec Ops operating in the 90's. The good old Alice gear.

Yes, good ol' ALICE is ancient, but there are still soldiers who choose to use an ALICE pack over other newer packs. It will be for the Ironsight Rifleman, who should be the resupply packhorse for the squad. Additionally, I don't expect you to see a whole lot of it, as I rarely see people choose the Ironsight over the scoped kit.
I have plans for the SpecOps kit, who will have a more unique set of gear compared to the standard kits, but I'm sorry to tell you he won't have the jelled hair, flipflops and hotpants of a Navy SEAL.

it seems like a good idea with the alice pack at first, but the i think about it and the more i dislike it, first of all it's not used for the ranges our engagements are at, and secondly it would be a ***** to animate the walking/running etc that would be different because of the increased load.
but except for that you are doing some awesome work here.

It's my understanding that there is very little animation involved in Kit Geometries; you simply assign weights to elements of the kit and BF2 takes care of the rest. Though, I could be completely off.

you might be right menace, but so far we haven't seen any objects of this size ingame (we should test it before it's done if we can)
