i think the hind with fixed machine guns is a great idea, give it a comparatively higher speed and lower maneuverability and climb rate to compensate. Also under mounted speakers playing @Ride Of the Valkyries' or the Soviet anthem would scare the hell out of the insurgents!!

lol, i would love the anthem, but it would get a bit tedious after a while ;P
