It's a bit high pitched. Try to speak a bit lower :) .

Regarding the "thank you" one, I think you should try to "live it" some more. Sounds as if you're happy/laughing saying it, if you get what I mean :D .

Quality is getting there, but it's not optimal. Now I know doing non-professional recordings are a ***** and I may sound like one too (lol), but it's better to spend more time at THIS point, than afterwards when you've spent hours and hours on getting it right when suddenly some blue tagged dutch guy says it's no good ;) .
(talking about the "p" and "t" here, try to keep your mic not in front of your mouth, so it doesn't "capture" the air one produces when using these letters)

Thanks for the comments! I was afraid it would be high pitched! Thats just the way I sound like when I talk loud. :P I guess I still gotta get used to shouting! I almost never shout. I was trying to act in to these sounds. Guess I didnt do it right yet. Well! In to the sound-room again :P (if only I had one lol)

Im gonna look for a home made little recordingbooth when this is gettin serious. Im gonna have to try some things out first to get it right.

I dont mind you being a ***** ;) Its your mod so your the boss! It needs to be perfect! some of the brit voices sound a bit echo'ie. So lets not get the dutch voices like that. Gonna see if I can manufacture a sort of sound-screen like in prof-studios that catches the air puffs.

On the screaming part: Live in an appartment so I didnt want to alert the neighbours yet. Also! Im a bit scared my MIC wont pick it up! Will try it tomorrow or maybe this weekend when its just in the afternoon. Might also go to my parents house where theres no curious neighbours nextdoor that wonder what the hell is going on in appartment 350 :P

EDIT:
One thing though! Things like: Thanks and outgoing grenade dont need to be shouted right?

Also.....run the stairs up and down ten times before you're gonna speak!
Makes you sound more battle worn.

We need an engineer here!)

we need a medic here
MEDIC! of je roept ZULU!( spreek uit als zoeloe ;-) . De Zulu staat voor de Z in het NATO spelalfabet en word afgekort voor de Ziekenverzorger.)

Kun je er wat mee?

grtz
Like I/We thought there is a lot of dutch military slang to use. It also makes the 1:1 translated dutch lines a little less boring or even lame ;)

I tried to edit the google doc but the list Martin gave me is to much of a puzzle to edit.

Anyway everything thats allready translated in the spreadsheet is marked with yellow.
Everything allready recorded is marked with green.

More suggestions and help is welcome.

Maybe you can make this one to, i really like it: Contact front!

Misschien kun je deze ook inspreken: Contact front!

P.S. Ice_killer, ik dacht dat KLu luchtmacht was.

To witch line does Contact front relate to?

Not sure as well. could be just the standard Q-spotted in BF2 when theres nothing there. ENEMY TROOPS! I believe.

You're right, spotted is not always in front ... you're not avaiable to create a contact front line?
