Well it did ask for the top 5 things people wanted, and asking any group of people what 1 thing they want much less 5 is going to take you to places you probably don't want to go

1)SPRINT-frontline soldiers tab miles with their kit,in PR you can bearly go 10m without slowing to a walk, the fact they are as unfit as epoch is an insult.
2)l85 accuracy, jesus a loggie could shoot better than the british soldier on PR,the l85 is the most accurate assault rifle in the world and at 300m should be able to hit a figure 8 EVERY time,at 200m im lucky if 1 in 5 shots hit.
3)friggin minimi taking 20 seconds no deploy, out on patrol your weapon is 1st priority, safety off, cocked and locked,no matter what you do you should be able to fire back at the enemy at the drop of a hat, this checking bullshit is just stupid.
4)the iron sights! the L85 forsight is massive in PR whereas in real life its 2mm wide!use the daysight not the night one in PR,also ironsights seem about 5 inches away from the eye making it very hard to scan,it should be the width of 2 fingers away
5)C4 or explosives for the combat engineer, afterall that is his job,to build and blow bridges, leave the fixing vehcles to REME,ALSO why the hell was the wrench taken from the crewman kit? vehcle upkeep and emergancy repairs are a BIG part of the Royal Armoured Corps training.
cheers

Yeah, and it's possible to hit a penny size target at 500 metres with AK47.
ONTOPIC.
1. Russians
2. Grozny map (Russkies v. Chechens)
3. Fallujah map
4. Hind
5. Taliban

LMAO
Anway
1) Sprinting times should be increased back up to .75 levels
2) The Sniper should be issued with a claymore (or 2!!!)
3) Sort out Aircraft physics and give the fixed wing aircraft an airbrake. Dogfighting is too unrealistic and I can accelerate in the vertical with about half power on (in the Mig29) rofl. Deceleration and altitude decrease in choppers is much too much.
4) Please sort out the insurgency mode. If a server starts an insurgency map, I leave. I don't even play it anymore. I
hate being cannon fodder for an hour or more... ridiculous
5) Issue the British forces the L7A2 GMPG instead of a Minimi. It's bread and butter for a (british) squad to have one and Minimi's are more rare (especially compared to US forces who seem to have a Minimi for every 3 people (joke).
I could go on and on now

Yea lol, L85 is clearly not the most accurate rifle in the world. But it's ok, because it's clearly best rifle in PR. Only G3 beats it in long-range, but small recoil makes the L85 best weapon in PR.
To avoid this post being 100% offtopic, I'll give a comment on claymores for snipers: Hell no.
1) Snipers never carry claymores irl
2) Snipers shouldn't be "surprised" by enemies flanking them, because sniper SHOULD work together with a spotter

@ Sakils2 and Emnyron:
YouTube - AK 47 vs M16
"The end of the barrel is clearly flexing up and down"
"200 Yards, easy range for a good rifle.... but not 1 round strikes the killzone"
@ Anyone who says the L85A2 is not accurate (and ****)
YouTube - Andy McNab Explains the SA80
"Accurate rounds out to 400 metres"
"The sighting system is very good"

id like to note that you cant walk in PR, so the normal "walk" is really a jog and that you jog everywhere , so the soldiers would be quite fit tbh as they jog everywhere in a game, not walk.

Which guy? The one firing the AK47? I assume from your comment that you know more than him?
It would seem that it doesn't matter anyway... the rifle is not very accurate. It's just not designed to be used for accurate long range shooting. Otherwise they would change the sights. Simple.

under nato and UN law we are not allowed to use anti personel mines or boobytraps,we are however able to use anti vehicle mines.
on the subject of accuracy the L85 clearly IS the most accurate assault rifle in the world as a couple of years ago we had to redesign the accuracy tests for assault rifles because of this very rifle, the g3 being a good rifle it doesnt have the barrel length to be a great long range shot.
"5) Issue the British forces the L7A2 GMPG instead of a Minimi. It's bread and butter for a (british) squad to have one and Minimi's are more rare (especially compared to US forces who seem to have a Minimi for every 3 people (joke)."
in a four man fighting patrol we have 1 minimi guy and one ugl guy,we wont take out gpmgs unless we are off to do a specific job as they are too damn heavy and we would need to take water breaks every 20 mins.
"id like to note that you cant walk in PR, so the normal "walk" is really a jog and that you jog everywhere , so the soldiers would be quite fit tbh as they jog everywhere in a game, not walk."
thats fair enough but really not realistic, the jog is too slow,i know if i have to ever run between houses under fire im not gonna "jog" that 20m or so,no matter what my fucking sprint meter is telling me.

Yes but still. He could aswell have fired it from his hip and then tell us how inaccurate it is

thats what the sprint is used for .
i take it from your comment that you are serving so i wont try sound like i know more than you, but the sprint should only be used when under fire , and the normal movement, the jog, used in all other situations.

thats fair enough, its just when you are under fire you do everything with a fairly strong sense of urgency,as fast as you can in otherwords, and there are times when i just want to shout at the screen and tell my guy to hurry the feck up.and yes i am serving with the royal signals at the moment.
