I in fact have that book on mapping, its pretty good but I already knew most of the stuff in there just from my own experiences with mapping hehe.

but ye, for the most part we could use our models and textures, but would take a hell of a load of work to get them all in then we would need to make everything that was vbf2 that we had used.

Nice looking engine but no squad system and voip and the underlying netcode means a ton of coding to put something like pr on there or could those things be drafted in via modular code
