Favourites are Qwai, Kozelsk and Korengal valley.. so woodland is my first choice with jungle as the second one. I guess it's because woodland is closest to the terrain that can be found here in Finland and arctic versions of those kind of maps would be very interesting. Kashan is just... terrible in so many ways that I'll simply leave it alone.

Urban Warfare is my favorite simply because its harder. It leaves a lot of ambush spots and spots to place rally's etc. It also has a lot of vital spots that you can place technicals or hummers on to protect a certon area.
In Insurgency it's much harder on a urban map than it is on a desert map. There are so many buildings and spots the cache can be that it makes it hard to find them. Also making it easier to protect them if you are the insurgents. On some maps that has a small percent urban area and mostly desert. Sometimes finding the caches are just way too easy.
With a open area the insurgents without scopes are just picked off. However why is artic warfare a option? Never seen a artic PR map although that would be great to have. Artic camo making better blend and you can have a blizzard going on making it slightly harder to see. Would be pretty interesting. My guess is that it would have to be some-place near Russia. Russia vs somebody.

ok i have never played online but my favourite has gotta be ghost train cos it is impossible to see the enemy. so you set up the heavy machine bunker thing and fire everything you have u there it does the job. but you become a bullet magnet

I think Artic mixed with urban warfare would be pretty cool but personally I like both Urban and Jungle the best.

Gotta love mountain and woodland warfare.
Maps like Kozelsk, Korengal Valley, Fools Road, Archer are all so expansive and gives you so many possibilities when planning attack or defense. If you start fighting inside a village it's good enough urban warfare for me
Yeah but urban is definitely a close second. Ramiel is a great map too.

IMO desert maps are the best, maily cus of the tank battles and helo missions (extractions, laser targets, and tank killing). It feels more realistic than any other type of map.

Hmm, i don't agree with you, infact those woodland russian maps are my fav's

.
I love the atmosphere and the (potentially) depressing weather (call me an emo, hehe

). Best of all is Fools Road imo, Kozelsk and Mestia are good as well. I'm really looking forward to Iron Ridge, looks like it will be a very atmoshperic map with nice Eastern European setting

.

Any map when i'm not the Taliban
Jungle warfare. The amount of shrubbery makes for good cover at med. ranges

I hold very little love for the Russian maps. I enjoy the faction...the weapons...but I do not "Favor" the maps. Woodland maps are...well...they are maps.
I won't say I hate ANY map in PR. I have fun on all of them. How ever the woodland maps, as in strait woodland maps, can be a little testing..of course I'll play them. Have a good time to the best of my ability.

I give a pat on the map to the devs/mapper that made Korengal Valley happen, imo its one of the most genius map ideas ever. I definitely would like to see a few purely arctic maps...with jets it would be insane...someone could model a snowmobile and you could put like 10 of those on each side, and make handling like a motorbike, and be able to have the same amount of people on it. But I definitely liked the northern part of Korengal; I usually just stay up at Outpost or hunt for caches in the mountains. The thing that makes Korengal so awe inspiring I guess is the view from some spots, and the diversity in it. It is also one of the only Insurgency maps I find fun to play as insurgent/Taliban , although I usually much rather play US (but stealing a US sniper kit and raping their main certainly is fun...)
