1. The team had to work around some barriers and limitations to get NVGs working because we can NOT use the shaders of the Special Forces pack, etc.. and I haven't been able to see them in action because I dont have the build. 2. Regarding headlights/torches, there're (I think) engine limitations. You see, the game has Dynamic Shadows but NOT Dynamic Lightning. This causes fire from cars/buildings ect... NOT to iluminate it's surrounding area with the light the fire produces.
Based on that information, I don't know if it is possible atm, but you never know what breakthrough the team might make next time
Regarding lag, I guarantee that there would be a performance hit, but how noticeable it would be, depends on the system configuration and settings
3. I still dont know how common the civilian pickup is going to be or how it looks, for that matter
