I don't think that means anything, does it? If that person who posted it has EF installed already, the patch would update it. I have the big DVD set with everything BF2, so if I applied the patch, that directory would appear for me too.

I dont think it would update a map client tbh.

Not that I think theres anything in that file showing up

So any news about affects on PR? Devs? I trust you that your working 24/7 on it...

I ve just installed 1.5 beta patch.I tried on PR and apparently it "works".
I mean, of course i can't connect on any servers ( not the same version error ) but i could play a training map in "solo".I ran a few test ( run,aim,take a AT kit, shoot a AT round, drive a Supply truck etc. ) and it goes well.
But i don't know if it works for server side.
I hope for a PR fix for server !

Yes i know , i've done a backup before, i 've just wanted to know if it works.

Typical vanilla style with (of course) vanilla gameplay.
One thing good is that you do not need your BF2 CD anymore.
And I hope they will fix the server-crashes.

no realism at all, it would be a bit heavy to hold in a weaver stance for more than 5 minutes

Nice! I can finally take my second CD drive out of my computer that held my BF2 CD for the last 3 years. Most of my games are from Steam so I really don't swap CDs very often.

It's not real widescreen support. It's just a weird kind of stretching.

If it still works, I'd say so.

Mind you, I've only heard it from players who have tried the patch already.

Widescreen fixer doesnt work anymore. And im unable to join any server
