Its not just that. He posts useless suggestions, he doesn't search
anything up to back up his suggestions and he can't even use a google translator. If he found the Project Reality forums he should be able to type "Portuguese to English translator"

Ralfi saves the thread! <3
Back on topic, I like the basic idea of the automatic rifleman, and I think the deviation and damage and whatnot are fine, there are simply two major problems, and they are thus:
1. 'Crouch popping', this is when an AR gunner hides behind a wall deployed, popping up every now and again to fire a point accurate burst and then hides again, this should be fixed by 1.5 if I remember correctly.
2. With pretty much every infantry weapon in the game you have a certain time you should wait, not moving before you are accurate, if you fire before that time your accuracy decreases. With the ARs you can fire before the 'set up time' is completed (I think it's about six seconds) and whilst you fire you become
more accurate. This is a problem because people can just prone dive and hold down the trigger to become steadily more accurate until they kill you, and it is unrealistic.
Evidently neither of these tactics were intended by the Devs, so I don't blame them at all, I like the new system for the most part. But these things need to be sorted out with some urgency to stop lonewolf instapwn ARs running amok, in order to increase teamwork. If an AR needed to stay standing up, set up on a wall he would be vulnerable, and would need his squad mates more than if he could just pop up and down like a lethal jack in the box.

i think it was the devs call to have the no effect on the deviation when changing stances. I agree with it too. If you for example have the gun sighted in, and you are basically ready to shoot, and all you do is change ur stance from crouch to stand or prone to crouch, you shouldnt be punished with devation. The only thing that would set you back is not being able to fire RIGHT away, and we do have the gun not being able to shoot if go from prone to whatever else. Its fine as it is to that respect.

i agree with what your saying about crouch to stand, but not prone to crouch.
i dont know about yourself but if i'm on my stomach and go to crouch then i cant do it without pretty much completely coming out of 'sighting'.

Completely understand. And its why you cant shoot right away when switching from that stance if you notice.

Tbh I agree with deviation as you stand us, but it shouldn't be for very long, 2 seconds at the most.
Realisticly any change in position must be accounted for otherwise the shot would go wild.

Not when crouching to standing, or vice versa. Believe me when i say i even know from experience there. The only iffy part is the prone to whatever stance yes. But like i said, its not like you can shoot anyway, so the devs took that into account, theres ur deviation persay. Those 1.5 to 2 seconds of no shooting is like deviation wouldnt u say?

From crouching to standing there is a SLIGHT change, so 'd say 1.5 seconds with very little deviation, you can't go from crouched to standing then fire a perfect shot at 200m...
