I'm sure ZZEZ will be in here and tell exactly how it is, but I'll give the short version of what I have heard from him:
The IDF operate in two armies - the conscripts and the reservists army. The conscripts get all the good gear (TAR-21s and M4s) while the reservists use old and various AR15 variants - most of them A1 or A2 based.
Classes like combat engineer and anti air will be using some of these A1 variants in the first release.
If all goes as planned (me making a few more AR15 versions like an A2 marksman variant, A1 scope mounts and some other stuff) then some maps should feature the reservists and other maps feature the conscripts. The IDF is unique, hehe.

Is the recoil going to be bad on these? I have noticed on the M16A4s the triburst is very unaccurate for a small round the .223. The gun looks awsome and im am loking forward to having it in PR.

I know this is for the IDF, but seeing the M16's gives me hope that maybe something in the community will start up and we could see a PR/Vietnam crossover of some sort, even if itd be small Im sure itd be great

That would be cool to see some day. I was always a fan of Battlefield Vietnam.
