The translator's package for 0.95 is complete and possible volunteers have been contacted. Also updated the first post with new information.

Linx_esp wrote:I am going to do the Spanish translation, but I don't know if I need any special programme to make the manual or just do the the translation and then send it to you.
The manual is created in OpenOffice which is a freely available office package. The translator's package also contains a MS Word version of the manual in case someone wants to work in this format. I will be contacting you with the details shortly.

I have a question, since I have 0.91 manual translated , I dont feel like translating the whole thing agian. Is there a possibility to have the changes highlited so I can translate only them? It was this way when 0.91 was out.
NOTE: I'm not asking you, [R-DEV]Spearhead, to do it manually! I'm asking for some tweak to ease my work, some OO setting... Lazy me

I have compiled a comparison file that will be sent to you and everyone working on a 0.91 translation of the manual. Be warned: There were lots of changes and rephrasings nonetheless.

You have done a good translation for the danish Version, but i would like to add a few corrections that i think should be made.
Spil Modes > Spil Tilstande
Point straffe > Straf Point (both are correct but just sounds more commen this way i think)
Squad Lederen > Gruppefoerer
Kommandoer > Haerchef (kommandoer is a naval officer)
Squad > Gruppe
Infanteri Stoette koeretoej ISK > Infanterikampkoeretoej IKK (Infantry Fighting Vehicle IFV)
Lovkrav > Tilladelses krav or anvendelses krav
Tactical Luftangreb > Taktisk Luftangreb (you forgot to translate it some places)
Venlige enheder > Egne Enheder
Fremskudt udpost > Fremrykningspunkt (FRP) or Fremskudt forsyningsomraade (FFO)
Forsynings depotet > Forsyningsomraade (FSO) or Forsyningspunkt (FSPKT)
Tunge Anti-tank V?ben > Tunge Panservaerns vaaben
Sproejten (Epipen) > Adrenalin-sproejte / Epipen
Konstruktions redskabet > Feltspaden
Vaabenloese > Ubevaebnede
Thermit Granater > Hvid Fosfor Granater or just Fosfor Granater
Since this is Project Reality i think it is important that even the Manual is true to the actual names used in the real world.

Just in case anyone wondered about the changes in revision 1. There are not that many:
Page 9: "Once it is destroyed the coalition team gains 30 tickets and a message will inform you about how many caches remain to be demolished."
Page 17: "Sighting in with magnified optics makes is accompanied by greatly reduced peripheral vision compared to reflex sights or iron sights."
Page 22: "Radios and cellphones are used to report hostile contacts to the rest of the team. They can also be used by squad leaders to request support from other units and to place deployable structures.
Kits: officer, cell leader, sniper, civilian collaborator"
Page 24: "The Pilot is the only class that can fly helicopters and aircraft. He is equipped with a parachute but is only armed with a sidearm."
Page 38: "To successfully drop supplies from a large transport helicopter the pilot needs to conduct the drop from an altitude smaller than 15 feet by pressing the alternate fire key."

I can translate Revision #2 for the Croatian version, because (with no offense to CroCop whatsoever) i am expecting some gramatical errors.
Why am I expecting them? In our country, well let's just say people on the Croatian TV channel don't speak the official language

.
