I have TrackIR and it would be nice to have it integrated into the vehicle aspect of PR, but because there are so few TrackIR users I don't think they'll find it worth the extra effort. Oh wells! At least ARMA2 PR will have it

Search it on youtube, it's some device that registers the movements of your head and reflects that ingame. Example: with TrackIR, if you turn your head to the right, your ingame character will do so also.

Ahh the engineers of the future - building a better Britain, one shorting circuit at a time

Can only agree with those that praise TrackIr, I really love flying with it and being able to look around. Flight, FPS, driving, any game that supports it is awesome indeed.
So, what about TrackIR and Eyefinity together? I have that setup (tripple monitor, 5760x1080 powered by ATI 5970 card) and am wondering a bit;
1, Other PC games have taken a dislike to Eyefinity and the extreme viewpoints you can gain. PR has already adopted a accepted stance on TrackIr but what do ppl think about eyefinity I wonder?
2, How many runs Eyefinity?
3, How many runs both techs combined?
I honestly don't think there are that many but the two techs combined makes for a very nice addition as a flier. Being able to follow whats going on behind you while still seeing where you are going is very nice. Arma2 supports both techs.
Considering to post a new thread, searched, there are very few (20) that even mentions the word.

Only thing you need for head tracking is a camera. Hopefully there will be a app made for a mobile device to handle this instead of the gaming machine.
Personally I would never use head tracking without LCD glasses (head mounted display) but luckily those are relatively cheap now a days.

i hope to get TrackIR by the end of July, even if PR doesnt support it. however, it would be AWESOME if PR supported it. it would be much easier to land helos and you could look around without having to cycle through your weapons

I have a T-IR. I wish somehow the devs find a way to implement it's use in-game. It's not really a priority imho, but it would be a nice thing to have.

you can get a TrackIR from this German importer. You don't even need a credit card. Simple money transfer from checking account is ok.
