This server rocks !! Before 2 months for release this server's mumble started to fill up , and now almsot everyday at least half of the team is on mumble which makes me cry Love u guys ! Keep it up !

Can't remember having any complaints on this server so it must be good

I just wanted to say that lately i have noticed a lot of childish behavour regarding the spammin the chat when people or assest get killed. yes we all feel good when we take out a tank or a chopper but please do not type it in capitals for five lines of

or tank Failllllllllllllllllllllllll

people are trying to enjoy a game its not a scool playground and it winds people up so can we please show a bit of respect to other gamers and maybe keep to ya squad chat or voip if you are happy.

ofcourse i dont want to see it all stop of you pull of a great shot or somthin simply say so but do not disrespect our users . As you would not like it .

Yes mate the ping displayed ingame is only the "Players" connection to the server.

We have been suffering high lagg on the server due to Alpha Networks server upgrades. This is now complete and the server is now running smooth once again. Or it was when I was last on.

Yes I am aware of that. I think there was an incident today with a HP getting kicked, and I apologize. I spoke with him and said that HP has no effect on the server.

I dont know how dice programmed the game if they use UDP or TCP, but I do some times see HP affect a server.
Its not because of the ping, but it could be because of packetloss to the player.
In Tcp/IP, any packet not received properly will, get resend by the server, thereby dropping the throughput of the server and but that it, may happen that other players will experience lag.

Bf2 need these ports to be open
TCP Ports

4711, 27901, 28910, 29900, 299
UDP Ports
1500-4999, 16567, 27900, 29900

So far it uses both UDP and TCP, but for what excatly i cant say yet, time for bed here.

Ah I'm glad! It's just that I love this server, but I got kicked twice for high ping (250+) after many people were complaining about lag.

But yes, I am thankful that you guys fixed it. Keep up the good server!


And Jevski, yeah, Dice has some pretty weird logic. First is the TCP/UDP thingy... than the hardcodeness... Just weird. What were they thinking?

I am too annoyed by people complaining about other players' pings, though. By that logic, TG would be unplayable.

It is a provider issue.
A clan was kind enough to put up a server for us so we could check if it was our settings but we still have lots of lagg when it gets to 40 players on the server. The only facter that is constant is that the server we changed to for the night is also with the same provider. Also when our own server crashed last night after a heavey bout of lagg spikes. Other servers with the same provider crashed. The provider installed new equiptment last week and we have been having heavy lagg since then along with other PR clans with the same provider.

We are working hard to get the server back to normal performance.

[UPDATE]

The *NwA* server has been moved to new equiptment with a new I.P OP will be updated with the new details. The server name is *NwA* [MUMBLE] look for the [] brackets thats the brand new server. Lets hope this fixes the lag issue.

I would like to make a massive complaint about one of your members; kopite.

Having joined your server this afternoon on Kokan I was put onto the American side. With 2 locked inf squads there was a 3rd with 3 people called Kiowa led by Kopite. With the blackhawk available I jumped into the squad, said hello and said I would do some BH trans - the idea being that we could share AA information etc. Whilst one of the other NWA guys was talking to me Kopite cut him off mid sentence and just kicked me. Fair enough, kiowa squad, I can make my own no big deal.

Kopite soon loses his kiowa and jumps in the BH, and so begins the incessant "Go go go" over the comma rose and telling me to fly him around. Reluctantly I do so only to get AA locked and RTB, all the while he continues to "spin" the barrel, and as most players willl know, causing the firing sound constantly angering vets and new players alike. I did ask him to stop numerous times but seemed to fall on deaf ears. His attitude stunk, being told to get a life and go tell a "teacher" that kop was being a naughty boy. This only escalated over the next few minutes with him getting more abusive. Feel free to check the chat logs, from between about 16.00 and 16.10GGMT today, on Kokan.

So, continuing the hostility, and still flying him around to the constant barrage of mini gun fire in base, I go to take off and am hit by a kiowa flying above me, which TK's them and damages the BH. Despite Kopite being on the gun still, and obviously an accident, he gets his wish and immediately bans me without hesitation.

Having been around this game and mod for some 6 years now, members of both dev, clan, and EA alike, I would hope I'm the kind of player you would want on the server, and not be confronted with some power happy member only to get banned for a petty confrontation.

All my experiences with NWA have been stellar up until now, and it is dissappointing for one guy to give off such a poor impression on you guys. I'm not looking the vindicate the guy, but thought it best to bring to your attention and hopefully get my ban removed.

How is it exaggerated? I am banned because I questioned an admins behaviour and so prompted the ban hammer at the first opportunity. Perhaps you being on their TS it came across different. The above, however, is how it played out for me.

look riico im supprised it took you so long to do this as all you wanted to do was cause an argument ,
and you picked the wrong guy . yes the chat logs are there to see and if you look every one was agreeing with me infact another player from a differnt clan has just told me about this as we expected it . you have forgot to mantion you lie about i was shooting my own vgehicles in our main mmmm strange that , i suggest you lighten up i was about to tb you for the lying in the chat about me and you constant want of an argument . as for the power hungry i think its you with the ive been playin for 6 year with this and that so what grow up and stop crying, i did nothin wrong apart from shoot people on the ground . i may of kepty the gun rotating round and ill say i did not know that it made the shootin noise for others as i didnt hear it . you learn some thin every day eh lol.

now as for the kick from the squad i had been in all day and not long came back on line from work so my voip was not working i did open up the sq as you left as scotty did say he could hear you but i couldnt .

i think you need to come down off your high horse a little mate and enjoy the game xx muxh love see ya on the server again if ya want

Perhaps you didn't realise it then, but all the time at main whilst on the ground with the barrel spinning, everyone else sees the gun firing and the sound too. On the other hand, if you didnt see it and didn't realise what happens then there is our discepancy, and not a case of me lying. I did however, try to point it out to you.

Anyway, I have made by point and hopefully cleared this up. I'm not looking for a confrontation, just a removal of my ban, or an explanation as to why it will remain?
