potatochan;2101029']I wouldn't say that it was the only reason but I did not play on HOG for a while as ive been avoiding it too. I know HOG and FCV hates eatch other guts.
When FCV was offline due to technical issues or something we did notice an increase of player population at late Night on our Server and the playerbase was so bad that I decided to instead shutdown the Server at Night so they don't play here. Just saying.
Did anyone watch Lirik's stream when he mostly played on FCV? Probably gave 20.000 of his watchers the wrong idea of PR aswell welp....
Certain kinds of players are attracted to certain kinds of servers. It's good for the community that we have servers that cater to different player bases. And truthfully, that's just what FCV's player base is, different. I noticed it myself when I was a part of the PRTA NA admin team. If FCV wasn't popped or was down for one reason or another, we'd notice an influx of unfamiliar players who clearly played with a different style and carried a different attitude about them. I'm really not trying to say there is anything wrong with that, it just makes it abundantly clear that a diverse server choice is a good thing for the future of PR. All that being said, I don't want that to be perceived as an insult against FCV, it's obviously a tremendously successful server and I have had fun playing there.
Yeah okay, I don't think you guys understand that I exclusively play on my server, and I'm fine with it. The mumble and chat "spam" doesn't bother me or other people 99% of the time. Its a preference, not a rule. We deal with it if it becomes excessive (like someone blasting max distortion to disrupt the server) and those people will be banned... however people just goofing off, or being ridiculous at map end, I don't care.

If I didn't play every week and know exactly what you're talking about I'd be more concerned, but I do. Its not that annoying. Just loosen the stick a little more from your rectum and you'll be fine. If you really care that much just take off your headphones. Or find a mute button (not that hard) or if that's somehow beyond you then find another server. Dunno wtf you want.
If its really that bad then post recordings of it here and I'll look into it, but if its not any worse than those videos I posted above then you should be strapping in for the long haul.
Blue, you know me. You know I've got nothing against you and I respect what you've done for PR. But to just say that mumble spam is a non-issue because you play there and when you're on it doesn't bother you is simply an anecdotal fallacy. I believe that you know and understand your community very well but to brush something off like that because you've talked to people that said it didn't bother them and the fact that it doesn't bother you isn't a very thorough counter-argument.
I have not once seen someone disciplined/removed from the server due to mumble spam, be it during the pre-round timer, over local, or after the round. At times it is quite literally ear-splitting and unbearable. I don't mean to imply it's a constant thing because it isn't, but I do believe it's something your admin team could do well to improve on.
Thanks,
Chef
