Most of us have full-time jobs or are full-time students already. However, some have used their positions on the DEV team to get paid jobs in the gaming industry. :)

no.

It was just a little experiment Mosquill did but it wouldn't work out in a full scale scenario with buildings, terrain shadows etc because BF2's dynamic shadow system is rubbish.

Will there be any changes to AAS? Mainly the removal of enemy influence on the flags not in play, like it has been suggested a few times?

Any idea why the 50.cal is blocky when you are slewing it? It seems to jump about 5 pixels at a time, small but noticeable and irritating.

Also, will there be different sensitivities for different levels of zoom in armour in 1.0? Thinking of the CROW humvee as an example, when you're zoomed in it's extremely sensitive.

You could get a Logitech G500 mouse and have adjustable sensitivity at the click of a button ;)
