Anyway i decided to try the m67 as its really simple and this is how it turned out.

wire frame plz

Nice! It's the JS 7.62mm sniper rifle, right? Really needed for PR's PLA-faction.

Well this is the best I could come up with out of my model collection. Granted its not a real world military vessel. This was made for an Fan Based MMO that finally closed its doors last week. It is the Amphibious Carrier Daedalus (low poly: 2252), for an old 80's cartoon show.
Have not gotten around to texturing it out yet, still playing with the idea of adding more detail.

decided to go back to the first vehicle model i ever made and begin to optimize it since the vehicle is just awesome.
tri count has been reduced by approx 2/3 so far because of my old horrible modeling skills with no optimization (twas terrible)

Nice Tomato, though remove the muzzle brake on the barrel, the reference picture shows an older version of the JS, they removed the the muzzle brake and now they've just got an clean end to the barrel. Also, the chin rest needs to be curved more, otherwise it's gonna be sore as hell for the shooter. Other than other looks awesome

Okay, I kind of confused here, rhino said to include the muzzle flash for the PLA forces. is it different model for PLANM and PLA?
BTW how are you doing.

Did I?
Go with what HZ says he's the expert, besides the muzzle braker being removed will save a bunch of tris etc

No, there's no muzzle brake at all in the latest version.
And I'm doing great, just extremely busy... thus, unfortunately, modding and general involvement in PR will be extremely rare if at all

3DS MAX 09 - Autodesk

tomato you should really use Max9 instead of 2009, far more compatible with BF2 and generally easier if everyone uses the same one, so if you make anouther model you want to be in BF2 later on, I would use max9

3DS MAX 9 = 3DS MAX 2009?

na you said "09" which = 2009, but if you mean Max9 then its all good
I know the naming is stupid, I always think the Autodesk system of naming products with years is really crappy, since they always name it 1 year in the future for when it comes out etc...

He Could always just export as an .3ds or .obj file? Unless Max 2009 doesn't do so. I mean you have to do a little bit more work but I don't see a problem.
Or are there some other underlying issues?
