I was banned the next morning and not the night before while I was playing, so I can only assume it was because of this thread seeing as Bluedrake said he would.

i just had a discussion with some random drunk conservative catholicist like 10mins ago who by far wasnt as stuck in his views as bluedrake is in this thread. and this guy was some hardcore shit.

Good luck with that. But the main issue I run into is team stacking which admins switch clan guys consistently. Out of the multiple times I have played in FCV, 70% of the matches I've been in were unbalanced. Way unbalanced. Or the team is very clueless and only plays pr for kills.

Yes, believe it or not I'm one of the select few who do switch to the other team if they are crapping the bed. But after playing a lot of rounds of **** team after **** team it gets certainly boring.

I know, scrambling teams can cause server flunk but, maybe just have your admins be a BIT less on instantly stacking teams?

I respect you and your server, but man just the unbalanced rounds get pathetic.

Another round highlight from FCV

I didn't want to partake in this "bash" FCV event but that video made is asking for it:

• 6s - Helicopter keeps its approach even when a MTLB is in range and getting closer
• 10s - Its clear that there are 2 choppers in the flag, yet instead of holding and dismounting in behind safe cover, the chosen tactic is to rush the choppers and stop in the middle of 2 squads
• 10s to 15s - The MTLB is right in front of 2 US players yet neither runs to cover, they just act has its friendly (Although a 3rd actually manages to score a LAT hit)
• 19s - MTLB is yet to shoot the chopper but the pilot already bailed off
• 20s - Mec soldier as plenty of cover yet he decides to run in the open hoping to reach the chopper
• 37s - The US soldier clearly knows you're behind that cover and it doesn't look like he was taking fire yet he decides to keep charging you
• 39s - For some reason someone decides to try and save the chopper, even thou it takes around 40s just to take off...

Ok, sorry could help but have some humor. In my opinion, highlights are when an actual street fight is going down. Muttrah is ok for this but I think the best are the cities like Bijar and the other one on Shija Valley.

But then again, my highlight for last night on FCV was building a CIVI fob on top of the tall water tower in Karbala! One player ended the round with over -1000+ points. Spoke with an admin in my squad about it and stated that maybe that player should be warned for disruptive gameplay? I mean, we warn about wasting assets, this guy was wasting Intel Points on purpose. Intel Points are an asset.

HOG has nothing to do with the discussion about FCV.

What Turista said is unfortunately a pretty accurate deception of FCV as many unfortunately treat the server as a training server.

Your concept of "elitist" is, in fact, the norm in just about any solid community, but I guess from your point of view anyone who plays with a minimal level of respect towards others in the community must be doing it wrong. I'd love to see you take this kind of stance in more competitive games (CSGO crowd would rip into you), but I think the issue is that you cannot admit you're wrong in front of your DRK children, so instead you jump onto the forums and prove your inability to see beyond the tip of your nose.

This is what happens when ego over rules logic, but please continue to victimize yourself in an aggressive fashion. I also think blaming everyone else for having a "elitist" view is a nice way to just cover all bases, but you saying the PR community is elitist doesn't make it true...I think everyone realizes this, other than you of course.

I think you need to learn some respect there little fella, if this was a sports team IRL I know you wouldn't have the fortitude to act like this. When a community is lead by a child what are we to expect?

Okay, we're not solving this problem my just deleting posts and infracting people, opening the thread, and having to deal with this all over again.

We're going to investigate the core claims against Bluedrake here, and if we find his server to not breach any license agreements, we'll be much more strict with negative feedback (remember the forum rules here in this subforum people!). If we find anything amiss, we'll be working with Bluedrake on finding a solution for it. This will take some time. I'm leaving the thread locked for the time being because I have no other option at this point. Thanks to both sides of the debate for understanding.

Bluedrake, feel free to contact me about this, but please accept that I have to do this because I have no clue at all as to what currently goes on on servers and I can't take anyones word for it.

UPDATE: Anyone who criticises the server and claims it is breaching license agreement or otherwise harming PR, please PM me with a statement and evidence if you have any. I'll take it all seriously, but at the same time I'll take Bluedrakes own account seriously and get a few neutral opinions too to get a better impression. If there is no serious claims or no evidence to support them, I will reopen the thread and prohibit the continued discussion of these accusations. So if you've got something to add, PM me.

Free Candy Van has been under a rather extreme campaign of DDOS attacks this weekend, so we're working on staying up but you may have trouble connecting or playing until we mitigate the attacks. Sorry for the inconvenience =/ right now we have no ETA on when the attacks will be over or mitigated.
