Please make it offlimits untill it is cappable. Since our Choppers do respawn there and we can spawn there.

I went to pilot a chopper and found out the French put mines by the choppers. (Yes, i didn't notice then, I swore they were rocks)

So, we lost cause of it, we have like 2 choppers that respawn there.

That was me. And yes I brought it up but the owners decided not to change anything.
There is such a thing as too many rules.

But the problem is still there. Also on other maps. We do have a specific rule on muttrah, but the same situation can happen on beirut since the rep. facility is not in main but a capable flag and here there is no specific rule about not attacking factory.

Hi Guys, had some good games last night.

I know that your stance on Road killing is that you allow it, even support it in some cases. Do you ever plan on changing this?

the road kills goes like this.

we allow the road kills to happen, after all, in the real world if someone is shooting you your gonna do whatever you can to stop them, if your behind the wheel you will crush them if theres no other better way.
so, we allow that.

we frown on people solely running around and using the vehicle as the primary sole weapon. We dont allow helos to do it unless your standing in the landing zone, then i will crush you like a bug. If people are "hunting" with a vehicle that is a violation.

Hello, i was wondering if HOG keeps battlerecorder files archived somewhere? i was playing on korengal the other night and had an AWESOME killstreak, thinking i was recording but at the end of the round i realized none of it had recorded.

so i want to atleast try and milk the BR file for what its worth. i tried making an account on your website but im waiting for approval i guess.

Just wanted to leave a comment here in hopes some people will notice. HOG has switched one of their 2 servers to a 24/7 AAS map server. I know a lot of people just don't like insurgency, so I suggested this on their forum the other day. Super and the other admins were more than happy to provide a place for aasholes like me to play, but the server hasn't got much action.

If you like this kind of server, go give it a chance and let HOG know what you think.

We, the *LAAF* had a very awesome round last night on Kashan. With a great commander, tank and infantry squads we managed to push the MEC out of the bunkers and then continue by assaulting SV. The south village objective was a little bit harder due to their CAS. But it was a very awesome round after all.

And Jevski, sorry for our little "road trip" with the APCs on Shija. Next time I will go straight to Old Town.

That's great! Since QRF server stopped, there was not a single AAS-only server around.

I had a mic. I was reporting a squad leader without a mic who was whining about an unclaimbable asset and I got banned. I do not feel like making a user name over at the HOG forums.

I was not the only one unfairly banned by HOG admins. Care to explain, first, why I got banned and second why Archer was allowed to lead a squad without a mic. Not one command was issued by the SL and I wasn't warned. The kick or ban was unwarranted.

you really should go to our forums, as your breaking a rule here, but.....

you were kicked for false reporting, i kinda believe it as it was a kick, not a ban as you state. you kept jumping this guy about not having a mic and he did have one. numerous people said so (logs). so your mad at the admin for a pubber that didnt want you in his squad. well its his squad.

Mully, what he Super said, i removed(kicked) you and the ODS guy, Headless i believe, for saying that he didn't have a mic, and for the way you two acted at about the whole situation i was in his squad and i talked to him, so don't give me the "he didn't have a mic" everyone else on the server could hear him apart from you two.

Also, really? "banned you"? now that is an insult to me, you lied about what i did and you and OD-S Headless both came back into the server less then 5 minutes later, I will give you two a (+ point) tho, sins you both acted the way you should after you were kicked.

I was not the only one kicked from the server for my bad attitude and i should have known better because I'm a "level 2 admin"

Now, if you feel that my actions were still wrong after you just lied about what I did, feel free to make a complaint on the HOG forums, or in a PM to myself or Super.

In my mind tho, it did what was right, when i was the only admin on with 99 other players, after 9 hours i was kinda running out of patience, which i'm sure you can understand.

btw, we are in process of a vote to change the APC squad rules.

the vote is for a rule change to combine ALL APCS to a "APC" squad, thereby freeing a squad up for other infantry or asset.

HoG is probably my least favorite American server to play on.

I've had numerous bad experiences with their admins, the ping is the highest possible to Australia, (East coast server?)

The asset rules seem wonky, but apparently they're trying to fix that.

One time, the game had just started, we were on pavlovsk bay as the US.

30 seconds into the round, we still had no trans squad (was rather late at night), so i say, rather than just sit there, i'll fly my squad to the objective, bring the chopper back and leave it on the deck, assuming we will have a trans squad by then.

I even typed this in team chat.

Anyhow, as i'm flying back after a successful drop, i get a warning saying join the trans squad or be kicked for asset theft.(it had formed while i was mid flight) I said, hold on buddy, relax im on my way back, there was no trans squad when i took this. Apparently that wasn't the right answer. Was kicked, and the chopper crashed into the sea.

obviously i came back to the server, rather salty, but didn't get an apology or whatever, just a rude message telling me to follow the rules or be banned. I went on their forums to talk it out, but they were down for maintenance.


Most of the HOG players i come across, seem to have this air of superiority about them. Unwilling to take suggestions/advice, their way or the highway..

I don't mess around, i play the objective, i ***** about teamwork and i'd like to think i play fair.

i assume you have proof of this? as our proof, (logs) dont indicate any of what you said. The only instance i see in the log of asset theft is a report on YOU for an spg, you were soloing it. Other than that, im not sure where you dreamed this. wrong server? lie? proof?

This was a while ago. This is an unrelated incident, and if you read further into the logs you'll see that i didn't steal it. I can't steal something that is not reserve-able, i also wasn't soloing it, just driving 100m to my gunner.

i dont show anything in the logs that are within a year, how do you know how any server is when your using information that is so old its not even in our logs anymore, even if it ever was there all we have to go on is you, which i am doubting everything you are saying, again, proof?

i posted the logs further down to show the admins ignored the report because it was not against our rules.

It would have been before you moved your server from midwest to further east. Had a whole squad of ausssie guys who could back me up, but why on earth would i make that up? I'm just recounting a story which left a sour taste in my mouth.
