Hey guys,
I didn't want to start a new thread just for that little question so I hope you can help me in here;
I made a highpoly ELCAN-Scope and a lowpoly version of it and tried to bake the normals out of the highpoly thing. But when I hit 'Render' in the 'Render to texture'-window it only renders the NormalMap if I select a maximum Mapsize of 256x256. If I select a greater size than 256x256 it just "renders" a black map.
Any idea why it doesn't render properly?
I made everything after this tutorial and the awesome AK-74u video tutorial from Racer445 but it only works with 256x256 and a less map size.

Ok, found my mistake now. I forgot to unwrap one little cylinder and when I selected it my whole PC crashed. So I made a new one, unwrapped it and everything works fine. Thanks to Rhino anyways.
Some sort of pulse rifle I made to practice my skills.

Just testing out an old right with some quick and dirty idle and roar animations.
Learned a lot from this rig, so now I am redoing it to give more possibilities.

Very nice indeed, do you want to design me a bedroom?

I made this silly little animation but as you can see my animation skill are sorely lacking...

Since Wednesday I'm working on a M110 SASS.
Those are some renders of the highpoly (ca. 1,500,000 Polys with 2 TurboSmooth Iterations) and the lowpoly (ca. 6,000 Polys):

Yea looks like you have made quite some progress. Some details here and there need sorting and sharpening up ect, but it is getting there. Keep at it

As I already wrote, I have been working on it since Wednesday. Let's say about 2h a day. So maybe 8 hours!? Don't know exactly. But there's still a lot of work to do.

Mad Mike, I would love to m8. You can have an MDF Tank-Bed, Curtains that make AK47 sounds when you open them and... I would even put the new Command tent around your computer so even when your not Commanding...you´ll still be commanding. And then we can all come around with our night-sights and drink cheap vodka in the dark!! what a pyjama party
