Video shows both. I'm not sure if they're bugs are meant to be like this. I thought at the least the sniper phone would be used for calling targets otherwise it has no purpose. I wasn't the SL of the squad but I'm pretty sure you're meant to be able to mark targets. Video shows all you need to see. With an RKG fail or osme kind of deviation at the end. Maybe interesting to note that when the map is displayed you can see all the team on the unmarked cache (as per usual).

As for the RKG - you look exactly at the place where it lands, it seems. Not sure if that was user failure or the animation.

I think i know what you're talking about and its not a bug its part of the changes it doesn't let you throw them that far anymore.

You have to be SL to mark targets on the map even if you have a phone or radio. As for the incendiaries throw distance, it's intentional. Dunno what happened with the RKG in this case, but it works fine for me, same as it always was.

Stand still when you throw it? it looks like you ran forward which maxed your deviation with the grenade and it hit the rail infront of you.

Thanks for the responses.
RKG worked fine for me in other instances yesterday
It was just that I threw it and at first contact it exploded (killing me) and yet the animation clearly shows the rkg bouncing along yet it exploded and killed me

So to make real use of the sniper you have to be SL?
That's a bit gay because it would be better if you had a sniper team where the spotter could mark targets on the map.

I use sniper as CAS squad leader, Hide in the mountains and laze, mark, call target. I only use the sniper rifle to kill any one manning a AA so the jets can drop there bombs on the heavy assets. But yes you have to be SL for the phone to work.

thanks for reporting this bug, when reporting a bug in the future please follow this Bug Reporting Template.
the RKG3 isnt bugged, you simply have to stand still for a moment to throw it without issues.

Actually, if you look closely it looks as if the RKG hits the railing directly in front of him and then bounces left.
No bugs here, boss.

Being a solo Spotter + Sniper all in 1 is a bit less 'gay' that 2 blokes lying side by side alone on a hill, right?
