I saw a thread about how disappointed someone was with .96.... then a funny picture about refunds.

So... I wanted to post my own thread about stuff just so I could feel loved and wanted here.


To the DEVS:

I'm extremely disappointed in .96.
Why you may ask?

Because now i have to reinstall BF2, all the patches, then download the probably 4gigs of PR that will take me.. maybe... an hour.... (gotta love 50mbps ), then enjoy it for all of maybe a week until i go "God damn these bugs that everyone is posting in the general forums rather than waiting for the feedback forum", rage quit for a month, then play again

THEN, just as I REALLY start enjoying .96.... PR:ARMA 2 will come out.. then i'll download more mod gigabytes, then the cycle continues......




Now really, devs. Why would you make it so I have to do all this.....

Pointless threads that make people feel less wanted, half of General Disscusion threads right now are either Suggestions, Feedback, or Bugs, and are thus locked.

Well... I'm hoping that our supreme administrative overlords will let me have some fun with a thread for once, rather than locking it... (like my Pony thread)

I think if I kept posting about how I want my pony thread back in EVERY post i make, he might send an assassin.

The only real bug I noticed so far is floating kits, everything else is awesome including the new map. Stop whining already.

Nah, just kidding. I don't get the pony thing either, though. I mean, I actually sat down and started watching the first episode. The animation quality is high, sure. And there's a certain soul to it, yes. But... It's boring and full of ponies! I couldn't keep watching that. If I had a daughter I'd happily let her watch it, but I'll continue to stay away from it

Also, get that PR downloaded and start playing already. And don't rage quit for a whole month at a time, that's silly.

I just really wish noobs would learn to READ. There is a SEARCH function for a freaking reason. Some of the new people, don't read the manual, or don't search, or don't READ AROUND FIRST BEFORE POSTING, or act really arrogant and retarded ingame, and those are the people who don't earn the right to be playing PR. For me, playing PR takes a certain mindset: Teamwork. Don't believe in it? Have a one man locked squad? Expect a kick. And your reputation as a player WILL fall.

It's not about the realism, or teamwork.
It's not even about Points, Assets, or New Features

It's an endless showing of apathy,
fought by veterans and noobs.

PR, and it's vast consumption of my time,
has become a developed, mainstream style game.

PR has changed.

Non-squad soldiers carrying squad gear, stealing squad assets.

Lack of thoughts inside their heads,
destroy and obliterate the gameplay.

Sniper noobs, rocket noobs,
lonewolf noobs, rtfm noobs...

Everything seems permitted and kept out of control.

PR... has changed.

The age of teamwork is now the age of noobs,
bringing in Call of Duty deathmatch without battleplans

and those who create battleplans, usually control the outcome.

PR has changed...

When the battlefield is like Call of Duty,

PR becomes routine.

They don't have bad names at all. Sure, I just saw a complain or 2 how some mods just shut a thread down w/out explaning (normally a new guy posting a resuggestion). But that's it.
