plz explain me this

hi guys this is my first post on this forum my real name is peter and i coming from the netherlands.nice to meet you all
.
but guys can you explain me something i dont now,why is there a time between chance seat i explain you.when i drive a tank by my own and i wanne chance my seat from driver to a gunner position than i must w8 a few seconds before i can shoot or turn my turret.is that normale that you must w8,because this is realy frustration and realy when you be closed in by the enemy.
i have take a fast look on this forum but i can not findt something that i whas looking for this topic.

Yes, normally you want a Driver/Commander, Gunner. The wait simulates the weapon being ready before heading into combat, you don't just jump onto a weapon expecting it to be ready to rock and roll do you?

Also, you're not meant to use a heavy vehicle on your own. this mod is very, very teamwork-focussed, and everything in the game works better with two players

more importantly, how can you even change seat without getting a blackscreen and the text: YOU NEED A DRIVER TO OPERATE THIS GUN (or something like that)

It's all set up so that people can't single-man a tank or APC, etc.
Basically the game is teamwork focussed, you are forced to join an appropriate squad and talk to another guy who will be your driver/gunner.
The measures mentioned force this, it seems to work fairly well.

One thing to note:
This is NOT:
Call of Duty(any of them, even though their all the same...)
Forgotten Hope 2...(god damn the gameplay kills it for me, great mod, just the arcadey non teamwork bs)
any Battlefield title(in a way yes, but not a retail, this is an amazing mod)
A game meant for console kiddies to do whatever in...
This is a teamwork focused game. Without it, you will lose

Guys i think he's talking about co-op where the driver/gunner seat don't need each other to operate.

In a public game you cannot nor you should solo a tank, if you go to the gunner seat alone in a real game it will turn blackscreen.

What amuses you so?
It surely is possible to play PR with little teamwork, but you'll have to admit that the level of teamwork in PR is usually much higher than in most other games.

Uh, that's relative. It's something very few games have accomplished to this degree. If there'd be many games like PR, it would be relatively easy to make such a game and thus it would be no big achievement. But with most games being not close to this, it does appear to be quite an achievement.

what i wanne ask can i do something in the script to put the time off where you must w8 when you switch from driver to gunner seat so that i dont have to w8 to shoot,i like this mod very much but this i 1 thing in the hole mod that i dont like so can you help me plz to chance the script for the time that i must w8.

yes i findt that tank there is only 1 from its the map with those bunkers.

In a technical the issue is more due to not make players solo veichles and fast switch to the gun and shoot and then drive away. I guess we all tried it. We learned from Battlefield 2. I remember the first time I tried it in PR, it was annoying but then I realised it was fair. You just can't do that in real life.
PR is a Teamwork based game and people who don't like the changes based for teamwork shall not play this game. That's why PR has such a nice filter
. Because of these changes.
