After new patch comes I install it than play mod for 1-2 hour than closed.

Today I am trying to enter servers but when I press join game crash to desktop.It was happen in FH2 after installed patch but now PR and normal BF2 too???

I delete my bf2 folder in my documents than retrieve my account back still same thing CTD -_-

I am starting game as admin still CTD.

I can play singleplayer map in all 3 of them but cant multiplayer :S.



Solution:

Guys I uninstall BF2(not FH2 or PR only BF2!!!) and its 9gb.

Than I insall BF2 again and patches(1.41+1.5) than restart my PC.

After reinstall of BF2 its now 11gb :S more than 2 gb before.

But now both FH2 and PR working.I join servers both of mods and nothing goes wrong.

But I have enter server 1 time for each mod so I dont know if its gonna crash again in future.If its work for several times I will write it in here

IT WORKS I HAVE PLAYED GAME SEVERAL TIMES WITH BOTH OF MOD

Lower textures in game, see if that helps.

I can play singleplayer so setting not effect it.

But when I try to join servers I have CTD.

I assume SP will be different than MP in performance, If you dont want to lower ur settings then thats fine. I cant think of anything else, that it could be.

Before patch I can join servers with same settings.

After patch this happens on FH2 than start to happen in PR and normal BF2 too.

Run in windowed mode by right clicking your PR shortcut. In the Target section, change "+ fullscreen 1" to "+ fullscreen 0"

Hopefully you'll receive an error message.

I try it too but not recieve any error report -_-

have you also tried running dxdiag ?

Are you using the same BF2 profile for both FH and PR?
Maybe they interfere, you should try to seperate them (note that you can copy the profile, then you should reset it to defaults).

I am using 1 profile for 3 of them.

I was delete profile than recieve it again.

And FH2 has another folder for profiles so I do same on that too.

Hi there got the same problem on XP i can create local server play SP but each time i try to join game online after click on server bam CTD. fresh instal sorted me out

I suggest you use total commander or MD5summer.
