I am a new player so please bear with me. For the time being, I can only play Local Co-op matches that I make due to my poor internet connection. I am not sure if this is supposed to happen, but when I die during one of these matches and click "Give Up", if there are no medics around, my respawn time is 6000 seconds. Am I doing something to cause this? Is this simulating one life per round? This happens 98% of the time, the other 2% I can't figure out why it doesn't happen. If it is intentional, that is fine. If it is not, I really want more than one life per round. It is such a hassle to disconnect and start a new Co-op match after every death. Please help, or just inform.

First of: Welcome to PR - glad you made it

It is a feature: In earlier Versions you had the problem of auto-respawn on pre-selected spawnpoints - that was a big annoyance for many guys, I think especially in online games. DEVs changed it to a system where you have to select and confirm a spawnpoint.

If you die:
- Press "Caps Lock" to open tactical map.
- Select one of the white dots
- Press "Done" in the lower-right corner of the tactical map to spawn in.

The reason you must click done is to prevent accidental spawns.

Sorry man... but its apears to press "DONE" button on the screen when you "give up"!!!

I don't want to sound arrogant, but you guys seriously misunderstood me. I came over from BF2 and I have played PR at my friend's house before so I know how to spawn. What I don't understand is, WHY IS MY RESPAWN TIMER 6000 SECONDS WHEN I TRY TO RESPAWN? Is that normal? I do not remember it being that long at my friend's house. Please, I am not that stupid, I know to click done...

Oh my god, I am sorry everyone. I used that helpful search tool (I am really at my lowest point...this is the kind of things I would get angry about on other forums). Thank you anyways for the help, but this is a bit embarrassing. Time to go play some PR now, eh?
