Question About in-game M21 DMR

I was wondering, the scope used on the M21 DMR used by the USMC & US Army factions in PR, does anyone know what make/model the scope is? I assumed it was a Leupold, but was wondering if anyone here could tell me what it really is. On a related note, is there any reason why the Marines in the game are using the M21 (which I believe is somewhat anachronistic for the USMC now) instead of the M14 DMR (similar but with a pistol grip integrated into the stock) or M39 EMR? I look forward to hearing back on these questions soon, and wish you all well.

Hmm, for the first one.. I dunno what the best way to find out would be tbh. As a matter of fact short of calling the USMC I am fresh out of ideas ;)

Seriously though:
Optics: An over-action MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail sourced from either GG&G Armament Arizona or Smith Enterprise, Inc. allows for the use of any optic compatible with the rail; this includes a rather large variety of military scopes and imaging devices. The most common scope used on the USMC DMR are TS-30.xx series Leupold Mark 4 day scopes, AN/PVS-10 or AN/PVS-17 night vision scopes, and Unertl M40 10? fixed power scopes.

I did a Google image search for the Leupold Mark 4, and it seems to be the best match since it has the offset adjustment knob near the rear of the scope in addition to the three in the middle like the in-game scope has. Thanks for the help on that.

That wasa bit snooty of me actually, my apologies for that.

Might be worth asking a Mod to move this to the Off Topic forums where all the gun experts are?
