[Help] Lightmaps optimisation

I remember that, some time ago, I read something about lightmaps optimisation.
That was achieved by rendering on full resolution and reducing the size manually afterwards.

The result is much better quality than just rendering on medium.

I tortured the search system to no avail, but didn't find it anymore.

Can someone point me to the thread or give me some more detailed information about the process?

too some degree yes, although tbh your better off LMing with 3DsMax, which will give you a much better result than the BF2 editor even without down sizing the textures, although if you do render them on high rez, then down size them you will get an even better result ye but its a lot more work :p

Simplest way of doing it is just to do a batch task in photoshop: How to Batch Resize in Photoshop

Yeah, I already used 3dsmax for most objects and they look way better.
OK, thanks, will try the batch resize stuff.

Hm, that Photoshop image processor only let you batch convert to jpg/psd/tiff.
But how can I batch convert .dds files?
