I just got banned from this server. I was with [R-Dev]Alex_L's squad as a medic in a hot area on the EJOD Desert map because my squad leader refused to give orders. Several people were down and I was running to heal someone; the next thing I knew my screen froze and I was banned. I did not team kill a single person, even though I got team killed a few times. Would someone please explain to me why I was banned?

I don't know. Did you use profound language? They sometimes automatically kick and ban if you swear. As for the orders, lol. I rarely use the order system, but go VOIP instead.

Besides the above I have absolutely no idea why they banned you.

I am pretty sure that I had not typed any text into the messaging system in the 15 minutes prior to that point in time, so there was no reason to ban me as far as language is concerned. Not to mention that I do not use any profane language, as it is against my religion.

Do any of the Thorr's Brigade server administrators come on here? I am still hoping to get an explanation as to why I was banned.

Yes you were band on the Server and i am sorry that i must ban you on our Server, but befor I band you on the Server I send you two Warnings, that you not switch the Teams.

In the First Round of EJOD, you Played on the USA side. At the second Round you shout play on the MEC side, but you switcht to the USA Side.I observt you Game Play since two Days and it was every time the same side switching to see.

On the Day of your ban I send you two Warnings an I Switcht you manual on the MEC Side, but you Ignore these Wanings.

Also did I look on your PRMM Stats

Yesterday and the Day befor your act an the act of a couple other guys, effected that on the USA Side are 23 Guys and on the MEC Side 16 Guys played. OK on this Server is Auto Balance enable, but it take a few minuts if it switchts all Guys to an Balanced Game.

I am sorry, but these kind of Act damaged the Game Fun from all Guys how were Playing on this Server. I and -=TB=- DivS Schrotti the Administator of the Server don´t allow these kind of Side Switching.

I've enjoyed playing on this server, good server, ty for the efforts to make it that way.

Not too crazy about the no armor stuff, but the quality of play was excellent.

I am typically a VOIP player so I did not see any of the messages. The only thing I did notice was that I was banned. I am a US citizen, so I like playing on the USMC. I could see how that would be frowned upon in Europe so I will play only on the US servers.

I have to say .. I absolutely love Thors Brigade. Many hours of fun!
I may not be a very good shot, but the people there are always nice.

lol, you know that it was not because you are an american but just because you switched teams?
everyone shall play one round mec and one round usmc, thats what the teamswitch script is for - it has nothing to do with your nationality or that you like the usmc, just that everyone should play on both sides one time

i'm always leaving that server frustrated and with a headache.

people nastily punish you when they get TKed, almost like they have an auto script on. then they don't answer you when you ask why, pretending they don't understand english, but they do, i've seen proof some people can speak english and won't answer their own squad mates!!!! when people play like that, they are lucky they never meet up with people in the real world or they'll get their faces smashed in.

the autobalance control needs to be looked at, it doesn't seem to be working properly at all. I saw loads of team swappers again today on the very same map as yesterday, unbalancing the game. it was pathetic.

also the majority of SL's i saw don't know anything about tactical movement. half the time i couldn't spawn on my SL as they were standing too close to buildings and even after pleading on VOIP and in text when i knew they could speak english they still didn't move out so their squad could spawn on them.

overall not a server i would recommend to demonstrate PRMM gaming i'm afraid. the majority of players there aren't experienced in the PRMM world. maybe vBF2, but the majority i most definitely wouldn't want to play in a squad with.

dunkellic should remember when i told him the squad i was in didn't speakj english and then suddenly everyone started piping up whether on VOIP or in text, yet the player Freor suddenly went quiet when he typed he knew english and i responded by asking him over VOIP why he punished his own squad member for a TK after stupidly walking over a clay to be met with utter silence.

i don't want to rubbish the server, although it needs some setting tweaks, but the players that reside there give the server most of its name and they fall down flat at the end of the day.

I am an American citizen; I play on the USMC. I would sooner die than I would use my computer to shoot at sprites of US servicemen.

NO!NO! you got that totally wrong!
i thought, that you may have thought, that you were banned because you are american, i just wanted to make shure that there is no misunderstanding and that you know that you´ve been banned because of teamhoping.

too bad you left after the round. shure, that particular one wasn´t too great, and yes i noticed that the one player went silent as you asked him why he punished, but i already had some great rounds on that map.
the next round, the one after you left i opened a squad, map was jalalabad, and it was a-w-e-s-o-m-e ^^
shure, i had better rounds, but i rarely play as sl, perhaps i might change this after this round.
at least my squad worked very good together, it was my squad (we were usmc) that captured the hotel, caputered the market, nearly captured the last point and recaptured the market after it has been retaken by the enemy. everybody worked very well together and we used tactic - resulting in a victory with over 100 tickets ledge

What would it be if peolpe just can't understand you because ur speech is too low. I can't hear some peoples' voices because they're not loud enough.
And if you're a SL, you can kick players out of your squad. So what's the problem? And yes, even some people play prmm the first time these days. We should give them a helping hand and do not blame them!
Everybody is welcome on our server as long as he/she plays in an understandable/some kind of realistic way.

We try to keep the server settings in a playable stance. I don't like to be team-switched by the server. It's ok for me if this happens after a round ends, but during a round this server-settings getting on peoples' nerves because squads'll get splitted and so on. So we try to keep that settings in the background of the game.

In order to play this mod as it was planned, we'll invent some tank-days. With all those gimmicks of the mod including attack choppers, artillery and tanks.
We'll see whether the players will like it or not. I'd like it.

To Autobalance

It is enable on this Server an it is work every Day. But it is sometime a probleme if a couble of guys like Shining Arcanine were switching the sides. It take a few minuts if the Autobalance funktion will move all guys back. I´m sorry but were a looking after those guys and will ban them like Shining Arcanine. I know that these act of Game Play damage the Game Fun. But i can say to you that our ban list is growing, i dont like this but i thinks that the only think that we as Server Admins can do.

VOIP communication

Sometime is can be a probleme for English guys if they joint a Squad and were speaking English so quickly like the speak with here English wife and no one can unterstand you because they come from Germany or France and there english whose not so up to date as yours

I can remember me one the situation you describe at least. I think i was your SL . And i was camping on the Krane because we hat the order from the Commander to deffend the Dogs. And you sad over Voice Over IP that someone hat Punisht you.

You hat the choose to spawn on me on the Krane or on the Dogs. And i think it make no different i you could not spawn on me because the Dogs were also a save Area to spawn.

To the communication, I must say that i was very hard for me to unterstand you because i´m a german with an English witch was not the Best. But I must say you were Speaking a really quick English. .

And at least to the tactic Game Play. On some round it will work with an perfect tactic Game Play at the hole Team and on other Round´s it will not work. But this could happen on every Server. And if i were looking on the Player list i will see nearly the same Player as one your iGi Server. And the Server settings also nearly the same. That why you should not frusteratet on the TB Server.

But one think coud i see on the TB Server that there were come a few new PRMM player who played Vanilla at least. And i´m happy to see that some of them will come from Germany or other near European States to PRMM because they have now an Server with an exellent Ping. But every new Project like PRMM lifes from new Players how join the Community. I will not say that the iGi had an bad Pig, but for Guys like me i had an better Ping on an German Server because this Server is not far away.

Thats why you should be happy about a new European Server, and that the PRMM Community will grow.

It is absolutly OK that you are loyal to the USA, that is absolutly not the Problem but for an good Game Play all had to Play on both sides. Sry for that but its the Game.

Haha yes. It's just a game people shouldn't be too serious about a game.

Nice server, yesterday I played on your server and it was madness with 64 players on EJOD Desert. But the downside is, so many people on small urban map makes it almost unplayable.

Agree.. it was too crowded... totaly unplayable.
And it was sniperfest most of the time.

since server is capable of runing 64 players, can we try 64 version of EJOD-Desert?
