Is it just me or is the music in the game excellent?

Older music was better, I've turned off the music because it just ruins the immersion when loading into a themed map.



This one is still in game on a few maps from what I remember.



Nothing hits the reminiscence cortex like the old music.

But your right about the Heavy Resistance soundtrack, that one's good

My favorite is the Loading music. I still thinks its better than both the ones you posted Dtacs, but of the two, the Heavy Resistance is definitely better.

The map loading theme for Karbala is stupid. It sounds really good but whoever made it thought it would sound good if they added a tune in the background that doesn't even fit the beat. The first few beats you hear when it starts continue through the entire thing and doesn't fit with the beat/tempo of the rest of the song at all, the same thing just repeats and repeats...



Separate they both sound gloomy and great, but together they sound like shit

Always loved the previous Basrah loading music.

Hmph, it's been so long since I've played anywhere but Muttrah, I guess I didn't realize each map had a different loading song. So, yeah, the Muttrah song is incredible.
