Hi guys,
It's been about 5 months since I last popped into the forums here. I have been working on other projects around the house and suddenly I was inspired to dust off my 4km North Afghan Map: Mustaj

I know when I last left it I had been awaiting the arrival of new and improved afghan statics. Is there any word on how those models are currently being handled?

The reason I ask is because it seems a bit daft to me to place the existing statics in if they are going to be replaced again down the road.

No official word yet no, once there is you will see it on the highlights/blogs and possibly in these forums here too. But like I said before, there isn't any point placing the old statics down, instead you should work on the other areas of the map, such as the terrain and for now, just plot out where you want your compounds to go.

can we at least get an idea of what they will be like? like RL photos or something? I have the same problem and I like placing the North statics to make my compounds as a template. but just so I place them correctly it'd be nice to know what kind of north statics that are in the works

If you'd like I can get you some pictures of houses that have apple orchards up north, those actually look pretty nice. There are a pretty decent number of pictures too.
