I don't see any texts next to the bot setting sliders and it's REALLY hard to set up a LAN game with my friends against a team of bots when I can't set stuff.

Can someone please tell me what the sliders do from top to bottom or maybe give me a screenshot of the menu with the texts?

1: ticket ration
2:bot ration
3:number of bots
4:bot IQ

I think the texts are at the top of the screen because of a bug, you can only see one of them if you have a large screen eg. 1920x1080

What Everyone else said... If you have a screen low as like 800x600 then of course you can't see them.

But I have it I think 1024x720 or what ever that is near 800x600. I could have it on my original moniter setting.
1200x1024

I found an old screenshot of the COOP menu, although it's in German it does give you an idea of which slider is which.



Alternatively you can manually edit your ServerSettings.con file in notepad, located under My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\0001 (or whatever number yours is).

Slightly off-topic here, but did they reduce the amount of bots you can have as well? I can only have a max of 31 bots in my game right now.. I swear I could have more than that in 0.95.

I get this bug too.

To translate:
Ticket ratio
Time limit (One of these is missing now I believe)
Bot ratio
Number of bots
Difficulty

Try editing aidefault.ai in notepad (under Battlefield 2\mods\pr\ai)

My config:

aiSettings.overrideMenuSettings 1
aiSettings.setNSides 2
aiSettings.setAutoSpawnBots 1

aiSettings.setMaxNBots 96
aiSettings.maxBotsIncludeHumans 0
aiSettings.setBotSkill 0.9

That overrides the menu settings, separates the bot limit from player limit and sets the amount at 96.

In my ServerSettings.con file (under My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\0001) I have set the bot ratio to 96 so the teams are roughly balanced (50:47 - including myself):

GameServerSettings.setCoopBotRatio 96

I just did a test then and it's still working for me on version 0.96.

Snazz, hero! Thanks a lot. I was getting tired of hunting 18 odd bots in a 64player map >.> Makes practicing flying helicopters really slow.

As for the sliders:

1: Ticket ratio
2: Bot Ratio
3: Amount of bots
4: AI difficulty

Like Spec said, the Time Limit seems to have been removed.

If you also want to reduce the respawn times in COOP modify this value in the realityconfig_coop.py file (under Battlefield 2\mods\pr\python\game):

C['DEAD_TIME'] = 15
