Those look fairly nice. Should look good with a nice bumpmap and colormap.

yeah well as i may have said before....making the models is the easy part...if you can train yourself to be a complete modeller you will be invaluable to any mod team...

I started skinning models but just dont have the time to dedicate...its not too hard but the initial learning curve is tough...maybe 2 friends start doing together would be a good way to help each other out and get past the bumps along the way..

Its quite fun but you gotta spend a good couple of weeks to start to get the hang of it...

Then exporting and setting them up in game comes...whole other ball game...

Models are nice...but try taking the next step..its tough but cool..

Dunno if its just me but original BF2 statistics are getting pretty boring when making map, almost everything has been used so many times. So new statistics indeed would be really nice thing :)

TBH i think PR could maybe make vote about Special forces expansion requirement to play some PR maps, so mappers could use all those SF statistics as well (i think it should be possible that way ??)
SF has lots statistics which are designed for infantry combat which would be nice for PR.

This is off topic but don't even think the thought.... There are quite a few of us who never got SF and to have SF be required to play PR, that is not the way the devs want to go. At least I don't THINK that's the way they want to go. ;)

So to get on topic, the sooner we can get custom statics in game the better.
More buildings you can enter should be up there in the top 10 list of statics we want to see "soon"! :p

Go for it Black7, like irontaxi said the inital learning curve can be tough and a bit frustrating, but once you get past that and learn how to do it youll be knocking stuff out.

That sample texture you made is amazing work, all id say is make the yellowy bit in the background a brick texture to match the falluja photo in the OP.
