Some good tips for new comers.

Well first off... WELCOME to project reality. I have been playing this mod since 0.6 or something. But a long time. But here are the tips I have for the new recruit.
1.Use assault kit permanently.
Why? Because, that should be your permanent kit for about 10 times of playing a full round. Don't even bother being squad leader for those 10 times... Don't pick any other kit then the Rifle Man kit... Just join a normal squad. VOIP or Not VOIP. Doesn't matter. Only infantry squad join it.
___________________________
2.Don't waste assets.
Why? You will be VERY hated, and most likely purposely Team killed from doing that. You lose tickets for your team also. And If you waste a Vehicle, you have a 80% chance of being kicked/reported for that. So if your NOT good at flying helicopters, don't fly them. Tactical Gamer, ect servers AREN'T training servers. Use CO-OP or CREATE A CO-OP.
___________________________
3.Read the Manual/Guide.
Why? It helps. I bet you $10 that you will be a very high quality solider when you finish reading it word by word. Don't keep asking for help from other players, it gets annoying and they will tell you what I tend to tell some new comers, READ THE MANUAL.
___________________________
4.Don't immediate fire on a person. You sometimes can't tell if they are a friendly or a hostile. If you have a microphone, say: "We got someone walking to the (Direction of compass) it could be a friendly." After you say that, check the map by pressing "M" (default key) and see if there are any hostiles in that direction.
___________________________
5.Get a Mic.
Why? The best thing to do in ANY video game, even CoD! Communication=WIN. Don't expect others to say stuff, I mean you can do SO much more if you have a mic. I just got a $8 mic that works like a charm... My other one broke... (stupid turtle beach). You can get one at your Gamestop, radioshack, walmart, ect. Any store that sells electronics.
___________________________
6.Don't spam the comma rose.
Why? Its annoying and enemies will hear it if your close enough. I find that saying "Cease Fire" is a good command but hostiles will hear it. Easily. Don't take the Comma Rose as a mic... Its NOT. Its 70% of the time useless.
___________________________
7.Don't complain about hackers.
Why? I find this more annoying then comma rose spam... I mean 80% of the servers i go into have complainers of hackers... Seriously rookies? Get a grip and kill them.
___________________________
8.Try not to be a sniper.
Why? Well I had to mention this, because everyone wants the sniper kit because its "1337". I find it useless much. Some of the maps have good points to use the kit, but not always. Only 2 Snipers PER TEAM. Don't expect rainbows to appear when you use it... You cannot Quick Scope, or that stuff. You AIM and kill... Don't team kill though.
___________________________
9.Do not waist ammo.
Why? I think this is worse then Snipers. I find more people spamming/spraying their guns then Sniping kits. But Don't waist ammo, you cannot replenish unless a squad mate is happy enough to give you some ammo.
*THE ONLY PERMIT TO ACTUALLY SPRAY IS WHEN THERE IS A HOSTILE BEHIND COVER AND YOU SUPPRESS*
___________________________
10.Don't be a jerk.
Why? LISTEN to your Squad Leader, LISTEN to your Squad MEMBERS, LISTEN to your Commander, LISTEN to everyone on your team. Some of these "moments" people have are pretty high. Some of them conclude a victory for your team. And some hints for attacking/defending. Don't expect to ignore your Commander, SL, ect. Don't cry, ect because you were killed on the battlefield. Just get your kit, and fight like a true WINNER. Like Charlie Sheen said.
Thanks for reading these, If anyone has some tips, ect to tell rookies be good to post them here!

Excellent tips, all of them are solid and every new guy should definitely follow them, however.

This is quite incorrect. Spraying/"spamming" your bullets at the enemy is a very useful tactic, called Suppressive fire.
As long as you are shooting toward where the enemy are, then every round is a good one, as it means the enemy either keep their head down allowing your troops to flank, or alternatively means they cant move an inch, possibly saving a friendly squad from death.

I will edit the post and correct it... I meant to say that if there are 0 hostiles near you...
But Your right about Suppresive fire if there are hostile near you.

Good suppressive fire isn't just spraying all the time. It should aimed, if briefly so.
The way it works for new people firing is as follows:
1. Nobody shoots anything and dies with full ammo cause they have no situational awareness and get killed by 'invisible enemies'.
2. You see the enemy, pop off one bad shot before getting pwnd by a better player.
3. You shoot with proficiency when facing an enemy and may in fact kill someone before they kill you.
4. You FINALLY figure out how to shoot at the area an enemy is in without needing to literally see him. This is usually coupled with the ability to do what the SL says and actually shoot at a specific target even if you don't see anything there.
Most new guys get to number 3 pretty soon. Number 4 is however the bane of most SL's existence.
The problem with just 'spamming' your fire is that at longer ranges the very short time between shots drives your deviation up and also you have less chance to bring the sight down after recoil leading to a situation where you MAY trigger the suppression effect but a smart player will figure out if you're actually aiming at a target or if he can '
safely' play the odds and pop up for some accurate return fire or just bugger off to a better position.
A guy like L4gi will even go so far as to say 'being suppressed is just a state of mind' and proceed to charge across the field and stab you in the back while he dances in front of you. These extreme examples are however delusions.
Whats the best solution? Try and make your shots actually lethal if someone didn't have a piece of dirt or wall between him and the bullet. You can still maintain a very healthy, and even excessive, rate of fire doing this, though it does follow the law of diminishing returns with range.

I bet you $10
That bet is in effect with every reader? You better be very sure of that
Other than that, a sort of different beginners guide, mainly about basic behaviour on servers rather than combat tips. For a new player, that type of advice can indeed be quite valuable, PR is sometimes all about having a good start.

Sorry about that... But Anyways...
Do you think this is a good beginner tips for new comers?

Great tips, most things that new players need to learn upon their first few plays.
Most of these things are told to new players ingame. Probably after they just made an epic mistake (such as flipping over a helicopter the very first time they jump into an online round, yours truly made this mistake on Basrah with the Lynx, did NOT go down well...

Oh, you misunderstood me, I didn't mean to say that was a flaw! You wrote a guide about basic behaviour on the server, which is exactly what it says on the tin. Nothing wrong with that
Nice little guide. If you want actual criticism, it could probably have included a few more things and there's a few spelling errors and such, but nothing big that I could complain about. I'm too tired to give you a full review now, though. It does serve its purpose as a guide to new players, I'm sure

The one thing that I can recommend that should make for a good start is to find a good SL. That will make everything so much better. Trying to figure this game out with all the tardwich squads out there would really make it more labour than love.

Whilst I agree with this, don't get discouraged to actually fly assets online. As long as you know how to use them, you'll be fine, it's not a bloodhunt
And, newcomers, do NOT get discouraged by the "invisible enemies" syndrome. You'll see them after some time

another tip that is useful is to reload after every firefight, unless you know you only fired 4 or 5 shots. if you cant remember how many, reload, if you just picked up another kit, reload (unless you requested it ofcourse). this is probably the easiest tip to forget while playing, atleast for me and hopefully it helps.

It's funny, because it's true.

Forget trying to kill, just shoot
dont spray but suppress.
fire fast and semi aimed shots. just land as many rounds as you can near and or around the target in as short a time as possible, and that goes for the entire squad. more often then not when my squad is not afraid to waste bullets we win the firefight faster and with less casualties.
the same rule aplies for tanks, apcs, etc.
the more lead you throw over their heads the less likely they'll pop their heads up to lase you. they might know which direction you are but if they keep their heads down they don't know range, they cant call mortars on you, and if they do, they can't correct if the rounds are off.

As a LAT or AT infantry, you'd better avoid engage enemies inf with your gun or never reload if there is ammo, this is important, cause your squad may engage multi-APC or tank, an ammo bag can ensure you one round of AT,your squad will stand more chance when engaging vehicles

just to get in the habit, even if it's a fresh kit you just requested, just give R a quick tap, no harm done since it wont do anything, but it's a good habit to just do so it becomes automatic each time you pick up any kit.

My tip to newcomers: Get a basic understanding of how this game works, why VOIP is important, !read (/browse) the manual, and try to understand how infantry works and so on. After that, the most important thing I believe a rookie can do is to experiment. Test how far he can do certain things, if he doesn't experiment he will become a textbook fighter never taking any risks. Of course all the things you are able to do on COOP mode, you should do there. If you learn from your experiments you will become a much more cleaver soldier, and if you ever want to lead a squad you will need that combat IQ.

- accidents do happen. If you strafe or wound a friendly player make sure to tell him that your sorry, and if possible try to heal or revive him. Team killing is always bad but it just hurts much more in PR when you been crawling 2.000 meters only to be shot in the back by your own troops.
- you may love your medic when he is healing you, but avoid looking in his eyes with appreciation. Instead aim your weapon outwards for incoming enemy's. Just because you got blood on your screen doesn't mean that you can't fire your weapon. The medic is defenseless if you don't defend him. Some medics might not even bother healing you if enemy's are near and your not aiming your weapon.
Do NOT spam "I NEED A MEDIC" since this will draw more attention from the enemy's than the medic.
A good medic will find you quick even if you don't scream for help, or he will ask you to call out once.

Lol, have you ever run out of you rifle ammo? Cause I haven't, even though I'm playing PR for more than a year, about 3 hours daily.
