I have Vista 32bit.
And I can run BF2 on High... No prob... Same for Pr...

I ALSO RUN IT AS ADMIN

And I also tried the 'trick'
Press ESC , wait 2 seconds, press it again. DOESN'T help. So someone HELP.

load game

type

pb_sleep 300

this will make ur punkbuster a bit less annoying, it might be that which is causing your issue, I dunno

I did try that and It seamed to work for a longer duration. I played from 10:30pm-12:10am..
I usually wouldn't get 30min out of a server.

May be a problem in your netcard or the wires, check that all the wires are connected right. Never encountered this kind of problem before, there's probably something wrong with your internet

Nothing is wrong with my internet... I had a AT&T guy come out and help but he says he can't find what is wrong.

I just reinstalled BF2 1.41, 1.50, project reality core files in order, and levels.

So it wasn't that.

Yes... But I have a
Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E5400 @ 2.70GHz
I think I need an update for driver... And I can't find a download for it...

I have the 6.0.6001.18000 version and there is a 6.1.something...

sounds like punkbuster is the cause of your woes imo

ensure punkbusterA.exe and punkbusterB.exe are added as exceptions on your computer's firewall, and your router is not blocking the punkbuster ports.

PunkBuster Online Countermeasures
Do I have to re-configure my firewall or proxy to use PunkBuster?

In general, if a connection can play the Game online successfully without PunkBuster, then there will be no need to make any changes to a firewall or proxy that may be in use when PunkBuster is Installed and Enabled. PunkBuster communicates over the Internet (and in LAN environments) using the same network channels created and used by the Game, and therefore requires no changes. If, however, you had to adjust your firewall to use the game in the first place, you may need to extend that adjustment to include ports used by PB's auto-update feature. PunkBuster for Battlefield 2 uses outgoing UDP Port 16567 to communicate with Master Servers. This is the same port used by default by Battlefield 2 for gameplay.

I get kicked a lot by PunkBuster for Service Communication errors like "initialization failed" or "heartbeats stopped", how do I fix that?

If you run some type of personal firewall or security software, make sure that you configure it to fully allow our services, especially PnkBstrA.exe. These kicks are most often caused by our PnkBstrA.exe service failing to properly install our PnkBstrB.exe service during gameplay. Also, several Windows 7 users have reported that the following steps corrected the issue for them: 1) login as an Administrator user, 2) open Windows Explorer and browse to c:\windows\system32 (or wherever the windows folder is on your machine) - note: if you run Windows 7 64 bit, you need to browse to c:\windows\syswow64 instead, 3) scroll down and find PnkBstrA.exe, 4) right-click PnkBstrA.exe and choose Properties, 5) click the Compatiblity tab, 6) click the button at the bottom of the window that reads "Change settings for all users", 7) click the checkbox for "Run this program as an administrator", 8) click the "Ok" buttons to accept the changes and get back out.

I'm going to agree with the PB issue. PB is annoying and is problematic. Check your router settings possibly? But sounds as if its just pb.

Agreed! I think that games should have their own "Cheat Blocker"

I think its annoying then virus's. But everyone that uses PB has at least 4 issues in their time using the dang thing.

Because it doesn't require any connection
