Gets to splash page, then it disappears.

Tried setting it to Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode, no dice.

One thing that was odd was when I installed BF2 (3 CD version) and then tried to run the BF2 1.5 patch it said that it was already at a higher version. Thought that was kind of odd because as far as I know, 1.5 was a download only and didn't ship at that version.

Could that be it? Any ideas?

Did you install BF2 to 1.41 before 1.5? if not that may need to be done.

Also try loading as administrator.

Like Pedz said, do 1.41 patch, then 1.5 patch.

After installing PR, run VANILLA BF2 first and go through options to set your graphics/sound/control settings. then run PR.

What the guy above me said. And no compatibility mode since your running 64bit.
