Can't get PR to work on second display

I'm trying to play PR on my widescreen TV, and I've got it set as my primary display, but everytime I go to play it just crashes right after I click login. No messages or errors, just goes to black and crashes.

I've searched the help forums for a thread related to my problem but I couldn't find one :L

Try updating your video card drivers on your computer. Just a though.

What refresh rate does your TV support? You can use your shortcut to force the game to run @ the resolution and refresh rate you want.
Copy and paste this into your shortcuts 'target' window if your running Vista/W7 (Xp users lose the (x86) from the string:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe" start +widescreen 1 +szx 1600 +szy 1200 +restart

Next check your BF2 folder inside your 'documents' folder.
Open the profiles folder and open the 'default' folder,
then open the video file with text edit.
It will look something like this:

VideoSettings.setTerrainQuality 3
VideoSettings.setGeometryQuality 2
VideoSettings.setLightingQuality 2
VideoSettings.setDynamicLightingQuality 1
VideoSettings.setDynamicShadowsQuality 1
VideoSettings.setEffectsQuality 3
VideoSettings.setTextureQuality 2
VideoSettings.setTextureFilteringQuality 2
VideoSettings.setResolution 1600x1200@60Hz
VideoSettings.setAntialiasing Off
VideoSettings.setViewDistanceScale 1
VideoSettings.setVideoOptionScheme 3

Check your refresh rate is correct for your TV. Change as needed, then save.

You will need to do this again to the video file inside one of the other folders inside 'profiles'
You should see one or two folders named '0001' or '0002'. Open the highest # folder ( it should be your current active game folder) and check the video file. Change as needed (same as default).
Good luck

What he said. Had the same problem with my HDTV. Make sure its a good TV because Battlefield 2 WILL NOT do 30hz. It's hard to do.
