Does this version of CCC give you those black spots on the ground? It is said to enhance your preformance so it would be nice if it works.

Nope... Its ATI I think. I have those too. What is your computer specs? If you have ATI then its that. I don't think you can fix it... I THINK its a issue with ATI.

My friend has AMD and Nvidia and no black spots for them.

I didn't do much research but I asked a question on yahoo... You have to modify the catalyst settings to some fancy thing.... I would ask someone on what to set it to.

Jesus christ -.-, nope! I'm using an earlier CCC version (11.3 i think), it's the only fix I've found. What I'm wondering is if the new version takes away the black spots you got in say version 11.6. I'm not so keen to test it since I've done too much of that stuff lately. :(

I go on device manager and disable/uninstall my display adapter. After that i start my pc on fail safe mode and install the new driver.

OR you can just uninstall the 11.8 and install 11.3 thorugh the ATi installer, much simpler

Well, it doesn't work for me.

I have one bigger problem...

With medium texture configs and 800x600 i have black spots on terrain.

When I?m using 1024 or higher, with medium texture or higher, i can?t see the terrain, unless I?m flying upside down.

Image

My notebook: Vostro 3550, AMD Radeon 6630m HD, Pentium i5.

Before i was using Sony Vaio + Nvidia, and I had no problems.

Yes it does in fact. Every driver version after 11.3 will give you the black spots. However, try enabling CatalystA.I in the CCC Panel. Should help you out. Other than that there is nothing left to say. Sorry.

As for you, same thing i told the other guy. Additionally, delete your shader cache. It should be in My Docs/Battlefield2/mods/bf2 directory. Have a nice day.

Finally got things working by going to 32-bit from 64-bit windows. Going to attempt to solve this spot problem... I tried turning Catalyst AI to advanced from standard where I saw the problem.
