I like RPG-7 very much, and I tested it out on Apache helicopter. While shooting near rotor blades, it took only one shot and helicopter just exploded in 10 seconds, but while shooting near pilot cabin, it took me 2-3 shots.
Does PR include critical hit points? Because I've read the manual and it doesnt say anything about it there.
Thanks,
apache!

Yes, PR does inculde hit localization. For example, if you hit an APC to the front armor it takes a few shots with RPG, but if you hit the back of the APC it'll oneshot it.

If I remember right helicopters have critical hitpoint around their engine.

You sure you weren't shooting the cockpit while apache was on the helipad? That thing drops if you look in its general direction.

No? I've looked at the hit-box-mesh and it's homogenic for APCs.

Yes there is. It's in the "tip" section while loading the map even in my opinion. Either way, try for example shooting a tank shell to other tanks drivers periscope, it oneshots it. This is just one of the many examples

You are incorrect (only about APCs though, tanks do have different damage areas).
* A caveat of the above post is that some of the most recent APCs (Namer? maybe) *might* have had different materials/damages added by location, however pretty much every APC up to 0.91 had homogeneous damage all around.

Yes maybe the Namer has different values...haven't tested it yet, but I still haven't found an apc or IFV that takes less damage if hit on the front. Its the same no matter where you hit...as long as you make it a direct hit. The US marine AAVP and possibly also other vehicles have gaps in there amour that doesn't protect the driver 100%.... but AFAIK the vehicle receives the same amount of damage.
Not sure if the driver damage is intended by the devs or a flaw....guess it is intended.

Not intended i can guarantee since i made the vehicle, something to do with the import as far as i am aware.

For example a BMP takes 2 AP shells if you hit it in the side, and 1 if you hit it in the rear. Also I recall oneshotting a Stryker with an RPG to the back, but didnt go when I hit it in the front armour...

Well it is still a nice vehicle. I think it has to be splash damage in order to get to the driver so I see it as a kind of feature that you cant park in the middle of the storm and hope to live

Pretend Namers and Puma's are tanks. They use the same hitpoint / box system
APC / IFV's are all the same front, back, side to side.
