they seem kinda small. bet i'd be able to hide em pretty nicely behind the monitor (and not in the open like this guy).
they do remind me of ambilight which i have no experience with:

Phillips had a very expensive flat screen TV some years ago that had integrated mood lighting like that.

I found it really exciting the first few minutes, but somewhat distracting when watching Red Dragon,

though it's really subjective,

Ye I saw these a few months ago but didn't look into them.

That last video you posted was pretty good, when he turned off the lighting I did notice a suprizing diffrence I didn't think I would see.

That said, I always game with the lights on so its really not going to make anything like as much diffrence as gamging in a dark room like you see in that vid. So ye, I don't see me getting them any time soon

yeah i can't find any local retailers either. i should buy 3 from the us; 1 for myself and sell the other 2 online locally to earn back the bs shipping
