What do you mean by they don't fit your stye of gameplay? There is only one way to play PR, and that is with great teamwork and communication. If you don't like neither of them, PR is not for you.
The only good US server is TacticalGamer.

Most people seem to like Tactical Gamer on here, for whatever reason.
They do use mumble but other than that it's not one I'm a great fan of.
I started playing on =HOG= when I started PR and now only really play on the =H=ardcore server, which depending if you are on vent or in mumble, can have good matches with good teamwork.

How can you not like Tactical Gamer?
Admins are fair, players are great, maplist is great, and the way everybody is using mumble without it being mandatory is just awesome.
Unfortunately, it has been crashing a lot lately.

What Saxoni said, Tactical Gamer is really the best american server. Avoid Hardcore and HOG as the negative feedback is immense.

Indeed.
I don't mind being on hardcore or HOG, however. It's just some people have bad experiences, is all. I tend to have pretty fun matches there

I don't see how coming from a different coast, or even different country, has an impact on how well they squad up as long as everyone speaks the same language. You might also want to note that this community is rather small so while there is surely quite a few west coasters around there is not enough online at any moment to have a "west coast server".
Sorry you have no option but to deal with us heathenish easterners.

PRTA, Sisu (when it's up), and TG are the servers that you want to go to for true teamwork. Just make sure you have mumble. The HOG and Hardcore servers are only good if you just want to shoot stuff and lone wolf.

Play hardcore if you don't want to get kicked for a supporting member while you're transporting a whole squad in your helicopter, or if you want to actively attack caches while playing insurgency instead of "regrouping" in main after every known caches dies. Also hardcore does not force any 3rd party communications systems on you, if you wish to play with teamwork Hardcore has it, you just need to take the initiative to join H ventrilo or mumble. Hardcore has a reputation of being bashed on these forums by a few hard heads who were too lazy to read our rules or learn how we operate, but we do manage to have the most populated PR server and we attract the best PR players.

Selfpromoting much?
Anyway AFAIK there is no west coast server but that really doesn't make a difference. As many before I'd say TG, as you should have a rather good ping and a good and active player-base. Not as good as years ago but still one of the finest.

I lol'd. The only reason you don't go back to main after taking out the known cache(s) is because 1: You know where all the caches spawns. Or 2: You're ghosting.
About TG SMship; it cost's $80 a year, or $10(?) a month. It's not really that much if you've got a job.

Excellent example above, a usual TG player who refuses to use his brains. After a few thousand hours I believe we do have a decent idea of where caches spawn, so we attack them instead of acting like clueless sheep and asshatting in our mainbase. Of course, the old ghosting accusation! Join our vent and listen in sometime, we don't cheat. And who is going to waste $80 a year to play a FREE game when there are better servers out there? Personally I wouldn't play on a server that kicked you because you didn't pay them. Just talk to a few people who used to play on TG, all sorts of stories of their gameplay being ruined. I heard one story of two fully loaded trans helis going down because both their pilots got kicked for "supporting members" at the same time. How can you expect to have fun when your whole team keeps getting killed because of pointless kicks? And after listening in on their mumble channel.... I would pass on listening to a group of 12 year old kids yelling in my ears.

Excellent example above, a usual Hardcore player who refuses to use his brains. After a few moments of playing in your server I believe you do have a decent idea of power abuse. It is indeed a shame and rather annoying when SM kick directly influences your round, but it's better then suffering the "teamwork" and administration on Hardcore.

If you feel anyone "abuses you" we have a forum for that, but the blatant lies on this forum about us... have gotten old. Most "admin abuse" cases on H arise because the players failed to read our rules before playing.

*Cough* Team stacker *Cough*
I use to play on =H= and HOG then i realized that the admins think there god. and it quickly became a ****. I reported it to there forums but was banned for no apparent reason. so i came to my sense and join joined TG or Suis servers for then on out. Once you got 128 you never go back....
And i also love how on hardcore if you claim and assets the admins demand it theirs

lol I think his problem is when he wants to play the east coast is about done. What time is it on the east coast, when the west coast hits 10 pm? 2 am ?

I've logged a few thousand hours into this game on all the US servers and I will say TG is head and shoulders above the other US servers for best inter-squad coordination and professional teamplay. The use of mumble puts BF2

R on such a higher level. The people who get it "Get it".
TG seems to be where the DEV's and the beta testers have traditionally frequented more often. There is a reason for that.
There are bigshot egos on all the US servers. But there is a difference between claiming your brand is the best and just being the best.
