Hi,
I cannot understand what is wrong. But when I play Battlefield 2 or Project Reality then I can see black flashing things on the ground.

They varies in the size, sometimes these things are big but when I near me them then they just be normal texture again. It is very irritating.

I have tried to set the Texture to Medium.

Hi, and welcome to the forums! First of all, this is in the wrong section; it should be in the "Support" section.
Try updating your graphics-card drivers, and clear the cache-folder (Documents - Battlefield 2 - mods - BF2 - cache - DELETE WHAT'S INSIDE THIS FOLDER).

If this does not work, try to reinstall the game.

You probaly have an ATI card. Go into your CCC (Catalyst Control Center) and enable Catalyst AI.

If that doesn't solve the problem, revert CCC back to version 11.3. If I'm correct, that's the last CCC that doesn't give you that.

If that still doesn't work......... I don't know.

This is a huge issue With ATI Cards... It's annoying and stupid. I can't seem why this is an issue if you have a good computer.

I would say do what the others said about CC or just get a Nvidia Card. I think Nvidia is better because it's less laggier and less $$

It's not an issue with the cards, it's an issue with the drivers...

Sorry Rudd. Ok... and I just asked my friend how to get rid of them.
"You must first have to try downgrading the Texture settings in PR. IF that doesn't work set them back to normal settings. Next, you have to downgrade CCC to 11.3
LINK: Download AMD Catalyst Control Center 11.3 for Windows Vista/7 Drivers

That should be good for you. But I did have these problems with my dinosaur computer when PR first came out.

NOW, if that doesn't work. You MIGHT need to get a new computer, I can't see much. But It also COULD be your processor. If it's pretty old or very dusty... You should clean it every 2 years. Just use a vacum but don't bang on any parts."

I have lived with these black patches for 9 months. Was about to buy a new video card.

I tried the suggestion of using the 11.3 CCC drivers. This worked 100%, thanks for the tip.
