Any Way To Use Server Filters?

See Title.
there is a known issue with my router, basically there is a timeout whenever it receives too many server pings at a time.
as i don't have access to this router (and possibly upgrade its firmware), and using a server filter is a working fix for this (works in BF2 and forgotten hope), i am wondering if there is an option to use said filters (such as "has users playing", "not full", "ping < X" etc)
and to be honest, i can't understand why this has been taken out..
or am i missing something? i am using a german version btw. maybe there is a problem with the menu? i just have the buttons: join, refresh list, connect to IP, favorites and server information.
