Help| how do i get CREW KIT or PILOT KIT?
I mean, I want to drive a Tank, or fly a Helicopter but I need a CREW KIT or PILOT KIT...
How do I get that?

To be perfectly honest. I'd start with going infantry until you've got a bit of a feel for the game first.

But. Requesting kits is covered in the guide - you use your T key next to a crate, apc or Aircraft to request kits.

You also need to be in a squad.

ETA - also practice on a local server would be my strong suggestion.

Read all the manual. I appreciate it's not cool - but PR has a steeper learning curve than the other twitch shooters you might be used to - it won't be a waste of time.

Also when you join a squad - let them know you're new and hopefully they'll show you the basics. Pro tip tho - don't tell them you are going to take the jet or a tank after asking how to get a kit

Firstly: Welcome to the game and the forums, I hope you'll enjoy both and that we can help you get into it.

As has been said, please read the manual before everything else, and, on an online server, stick to basic infantry roles at first. You see, this game is extremely teamwork-centered, and attempting to do something 'cool' or interesting on an onine server without being able to do it correctly will often result in failure, which isn't only a set-back for you, but for the whole team. You'll not make friends that way - to best get into the community, do something they'll appreciate. Play an infantryman, preferably a rifleman or medic, as those roles are the core of every team and most important. Make sure to always join a squad and communicate with people.

That way you'll learn the basics of the battlefield and eventually you'll have experienced how important heavy assets are from an outside perspective before jumping in and doing one of the most important jobs on the battlefield.

Perhaps this video can also help you get into it, it covers all you need to know to play your first round of Project Reality in a way that will best benefit your team and lead to the best PR experience.

Dude, just go through the manual, or ask someone in game, but don't go for the armor, and please do NOT fly until you get practice on a local server. The manual you can read after you have installed the game(What you should have done first) It is also a shortcut on your desktop. Also, the supply crates areat your main, usually having a tent over them, or you can get the kits off of vehicles.

Please read first.

I watched the video that you gave me, and nothing, he didn't said how to fly a helicopter and choose a pilot kit.

1: Join a squad
2: Choose to spawn as a reguar rifleman
3: Spawn in
4: Go to the vehicle/aircraft you'd like to drive/fly
5: Press T
6: Choose "Pilot" for aircrafts or "Crewman" for APCs, AAVs, Tanks, etc.

As we said, the manual does cover that. On a local server, create a squad instead of joining one, as there'll be none, then just walk up to any aircraft, press T, select the pilot kit in the drop down menu that appears when you select the middle option of the T menu, and then press G to pick it up. Once having done that, you'll be able to fly. Same with crewman kits for the heavy vehicles, but be advised:

Aircraft take up to 20 minutes before they first spawn on a local server. Not all of them, but some that you might find interesting, like the jets on maps like Kashan desert.

Tanks and APCs can only be driven while you're still alone, not gunned. They require a second player as gunner, and the driver seat MUST be occupied in order to gun. You can't really learn using those vehicles on a local server.

So, for flight training, yes, the local server is the right idea. Do as people have explained a few times and as is explained in the manual, and simply request the crewman/pilot kit while next to the vehicle of choice, by being in a squad, pressing T, selecting the appropriate kit, and picking it up with G.

By reading the field Manual is how

Correct, because if you are asking "how do I get a pilot kit" you will not be allowed to fly, because if you can't get the kit, it's 90% positive you don't know what you are doing with the asset.

I'm going to echo the sentiment of the above posters, learn the ground game and the nuances of infantry combat. Then a month or so from now minimum you can start playing with some of the team critical hardware.

On Co op some assets are bot only.

For example in Kashan there are two sets of choppers in US main one set you can't get in the other you can.

Join squad
stand next to heli
press T select pilot
press G to pick it up
Press E to enter

For heavy armour same thing but crewman, you need to enter all vehicles by going to the IRL door, tanks in the top of the turret
